It's sad that so many people exhaust ways to make an extra buck.  I think the free passes say on them that they MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH THE PASS HOLDER, however, when I was there at xmas, another pass holder was giving away her extra tickets for FREE, and no questions were asked when happy customers entered!

Always behind the camera, a mother of 4 was watching me take endless photos last weekend, then tapped me on my back and asked if I was ever in them:  this was the result!

The new bus was no joy, we were located at stop 2, and when we left, the bus drove all the way to stop 5, then turned around to go back in reverse.  At EACH stop, everyone standing had to exit to allow others off, before we could continue on.  The green trams and their easy on/off will be missed!

Many thanks!  I wanted to make sure it wasn't some random "dream" memory, as my parents suggested.  The only original map I have is dated 1972, and I've spent hours trying to find pictures of the ferris wheel online.  (As time permits, I have been going through all the old posts on here, learning information as I go)

More of a "correct me if I'm wrong" memory:  I swear that there once was a small ferris wheel at SDC, back in the early 80's.  No one remembers it, but I have a memory when I was a kid, walking down hill, and off to the right was a lit up ferris wheel, I believe the carousel was close by.  Anyone?

Hello to all, yes, I'm a "newbie", here, so I have no intentions on offending anyone, as I learn the "ropes".  I'm on fb, too, and have hundreds of pics of sdc & cc, as well.  I had joined "Save Celebration City" on fb, last year, and some how became the "creator".  If any of you are interested in joining the group, please do!  It's great to share photos & information.  Thanks
