I've had a blast with RCT3, sadly, my first detailed SDC was on my computer that died last year!  I started another, while I have "down" time...

I haven't been close enough to see all the wording, or to ask, but I do know "Veteran" is on them...

Last Saturday was a great day, and I thought it was even "cool" to see all the long lines on most rides.  I met up with 3 old classmates,  enjoyed some great BBQ, the Balsam Range, and took a friend on her first ride of Powder Keg, she loved it!  She thought the hour & 15 min. was worth the wait.  (By the time we rode, it was 30 min. past closing, only 1 car ran all day)  As for FITH, I can't remember when I got wet on the ride, before Sat.!  :)  Any chance they'll ever get the leaning water tower moving again, Copper?  On a side note, some of you already know, but I had a heart attack the following morning, Sunday, at 7 a.m..  I have been released, with a month off of work, and will GREATLY miss my visits to the city!  Keep me posted on events-

It actually hangs over the entrance of the Giant Swing, I've often wondered just how secure it was!   ::)

I just got a phone call from a Branson resident that informed me the Celebration City gift shop is open thru this weekend, to sell off stuff at 75% off.  Sadly, I can't go down and browse for an extra souvenir.  One more sign they're moving forward with clearing it out... :'(

I'm a member of another "fan" site for a defunct park, and each year, they take a poll of several dates, to see when the most members can show up at the site, at the same time.  They usually visit the former park, then all get together at a local eatery & share stories, pictures, souvenirs, etc..  We should do something like that, to have a "live" scavenger hunt, once a year, that would be fun!

I'm still excited about a once a month scavenger hunt, that way those that can't go that often, will still get a shot at the fun.

I'm game, I'll brew on ideas, this weekend.  I want to enjoy the "fun" on what we decide, so I'm hoping someone familiar with the park, but unable to participate, can set the guidelines, or maybe we can each sit one out & set the guidelines.  Sounds like fun!

I'm stomped, I know what it's NOT... This gives me an idea, we should do a "scavenger hunt" at the city, via photos, or something,  whenever the most of us are able to be there at the same time! ;D

The rain allowed me to see the shows I hadn't seen yet, until the blasted power-outage!  Here's to the end of a Great World-Fest!

I'm a little late posting, but I've been busy going thru my vacation pics of the past week, including trips to Dogpatch.  I was at the city the 17th, 18th (when the doors opened after the show, the downpour had begun, and watched the new parking lot washing over the road), and the 25th, a very crowded day, w/o the extreme amount of basketball bouncing in Grandfather's Mansion!   ;D  With all the shows & rides with long lines, it allowed me to sit back and chat with many of the "seasoned" folks at the city, which was quite a joy, not to mention finding out Mr. Johnson was once a neighbor, many years ago.  I look forward to my next visit, hopefully this coming weekend.
