Nothing really new, but I listened to an employee telling others this: 1) CC will not re-open, do to it wasn't making any $ (didn't say it was losing $, however), 2) most likely they will be building a walk-thru aquarium, & 3) they expect some of the rides to be worked into SDC, with the Wildcat being the most obvious themed save.  I can only hope!

I was going to suggest everyone buy one of the "sheriff" badges, but they don't cover all names.  I can make some temp buttons with SDCFans on them until some nice ones are made, and possibly leave them at the cave desk with Doc?  Then it would be easy for all of us to grab one on the way in?  Just a thought.  I will be there on Sunday, the 26th, unless i talk myself into Sat, too!

Today was a perfect day, weather wise.  Saw the Zhejiang Acrobats, again, a couple of other shows, and the only long wait was for Powder keg!  Enjoyed seeing Terry & Mandi.  (Didn't see Doc, but he spotted me frowning at the "cave closed" sign!)  Might be headed back down on Saturday, a perfect start for my vacation.

Same here, I noticed it more this year, but I'm not complaining!  However, I wish they'd slow the ride back down, even in the last car, the wife's lines at the hotel scene are NOT finished until you're well passed it.  Newbies miss out on the humor...

Agreed, it was a perfect day for the opening of World-Fest, I actually got to see 4 shows on this trip, talk to a few SDC employees, make some new friends, and the longest ride wait was 10 minutes for the Giant Swing!
