Back to lap bars.

I have nothing ridden enough RMCs to weigh in on the lap bars.

They said they are releasing a few more on Friday, I think on Facebook

The only other RMCs that I have ridden are New Texas Giant and Fire in the Hole so maybe it's normal but does anyone know why Outlaw Run's lap bar is so heavy? Seems like I am helping someone lift it up every single ride.

Off topic, but... I'm curious to hear a quick thought on the micro nuclear underground reactors they are talking  about testing in Southeast Kansas.

Any concerns with potential contamination especially with it being somewhat close to a fault line

Some new food, new merch,

Something about a show or festival.

Maybe a little more about the resort(dining options)

Maybe a food stand/stall in the new area.

Favorite coaster/attraction: My favorite is actually riding the tram in the rain. IDK why, but the spray of a little rain while riding the tram is my favorite. It's weird, I know. I haven't done any coasters in about 10 years. The last couple of times I tried them, I had some balance and nausea issues when I got off for a couple of hours, and it just wasn't worth that. The last one I actually rode was Thunderation; I also had trouble a couple of months before that at Universal Orlando.  I love dark rides; the flood mine is pretty good, but it always seems to need a little more TLC than the staff have time to give it(usually it is in pretty good shape in the spring). I'm there for the shows, the non-coaster rides, the craftsman, and watching my kids have fun.

fall/harvest fest is my favorite time at the city, followed by christmas. The city transforms at night with the lights of pumpkins and then Christmas.

has very mid vibes for me.

Besides the obvious joke, that feels a little too real. I'm trying to withhold judgment and see what else they do along with the rebrand.

I don't think there is much space to add any food or shops.  That said, it's possible they will add 1 or 2 very small food/shops on the path. If they are doing that, I think they will announce it at Fan Fest.

They added the plaza🙃 and next year we get a hotel.

But yeah, it's new stuff but has all been basically a replacement not expansion. Hopefully they will do a real expansion soon.

As is, I have no idea what Fan Fest will have to talk about

I'm hopeful they will cover have a one more thing about daredevils pass for fan fest. Like a flat ride or restaurant that will be on the pass.

I think more likely they will share a little more of MME, and talk mostly about food, merch, and festivals. Maybe a little about the new parade.

With daredevil pass it feels like they are locking in to the current park footprint and not leaving much space for future growth. Maybe there will be more space than I think but with MME nestled between AP, Powderkeg,wildfire. It feels like they've blocked that area from going farther into the woods for expansion.

Maybe they will be relocating all the maintenance/back of house stuff that's right outside the fire district and could then use that space and possibly connect to somewhere by outlaw run.

So here's my crazy idea.

In that space add a suspended coaster(bat or owl themed), a trackles shooting ride(stagecoach training), and a couple of flat rides... call it the backwoods.


Right by FITH add an indoor firehouse kitchen restaurant(with cafeteria style order in a line or food court style(3-4)

I'm really curious if/when the certificates from Fan Fest are going to come into play with this project. I'm not expecting anything huge but I've been curious about it since last fall. Friday can't get here soon enough!

it sure seemed like those certificates are for an early preview ride before the official opening

Haven't seen anything new on it.

My most recent survives were both just general how was you visit surveys.

I'm thinking there will be a subtle tease or two at fan fest. Maybe even a hint at the announcement on the 14th

Anyways...

I hope that if there is indeed a path connecting the WF and PK path, they also add in some restrooms in that area, as well as maybe another restaurant and shop in the area. I'm not sure where it'll fit at all, but they would be welcomed additions to the land, especially the restrooms.

Yes! And more than one family restroom at the restroom!

MME is the name.  No I won't spoil it for.  Honestly I'm surprised no one has figured it out yet. 

The candle theory is interesting, but I count three launches.  One into the helix garden.  One down the hill.  One back up the hill.  I just don't see how else the ride will function otherwise. 

Anyone figured out what the big footer is for yet? 😉

Is it a whole "land"? Are the candles and flour included because those shops are moving to the new area?(total speculation on my part)
