General Silver Dollar City Talk / Updated Entry and Masking Guidelines
« on: April 12, 2021, 11:24:46 AM »
Masks are still required in most areas.

However, they are no longer doing temperature checks or bracelets when entering the park.

Masking is now optional when outdoors as long as distancing is maintained.

It appears as if Dollywood is also making this change.

Random Talk / Best Park for Kids over 42" but under 48"
« on: November 04, 2019, 12:33:49 PM »
My son and I are going on a theme park trip next spring and are looking for park suggestions. He will be almost 5 and over 42" but won't be quite 48" yet. He loves roller coasters; his favorite is PowderKeg. Anywhere in the US is doable. We will probably do 4 days total; travel>park>park>travel. We aren't really looking at Disney/Universal as we do/will do those as full family trips. Thanks for any suggestions!

General Silver Dollar City Talk / 2020 Season Passes
« on: October 31, 2019, 02:52:40 PM »
New - FREE Adventure Pass for kids born in 2015 or 2016 - This is a 2 Park pass that doesn't come with BAF Passes... but it's FREE! Age verification is required on first visit.

2 Park w/ Parking - $213 (Increase of $20)
2 Park 12-64 - $158 (Increase of $15)
VIP Refill Cup - $70 (Increase of $20)

2 Park Pass still include 5 SDC BAF & 4 WW BAF. There is NOT a full season SDC BAF pass included this year. The paid BAF pass is also $30 (Increase of $5).

Also, SDC will not be open New Year's Eve or New Year's Day next season.

As of right now, the WW Unlimited Dining options isn't showing for next season.

How long have they been offering this $15 one ride Trailblazer pass that is only good for Time Traveler?

White Water Discussion / WW 2019
« on: June 02, 2019, 10:05:45 PM »
Made out first trip of the year to WW this weekend. Below are a few things that we noticed:

- They still have the $20 unlimited refill cup for sale. (Wasn't sure if this would go away with the SDC&WW VIP cup).
- New water fountain/bottle filling statin right inside the gate. Also noticed bottle filling stations at the water fountains throughout the park. Not sure if they were there last year.
- New area of misters on the Lazy River.
- Splashaway Cay has a new coat of paint and the slides are now different and brighter colors than before.
- The people checking bags were in WW staff shirts, not more security staff looking shirts like at SDC and like how they have been at WW in the past.
