The Harlem Globetrotters are returning to Silver Dollar City June 12 - August 8. They will be inside Red Gold Heritage Hall.

Welp here we go!

While I would love for it to be a ride, Iím half expecting it to be the return of indoor entertainment based on the building in the photo.

General Silver Dollar City Talk / Updated Entry and Masking Guidelines
« on: April 12, 2021, 11:24:46 AM »
Masks are still required in most areas.

However, they are no longer doing temperature checks or bracelets when entering the park.

Masking is now optional when outdoors as long as distancing is maintained.

It appears as if Dollywood is also making this change.

GS - Down once for around 30 minutes.
TNT - Down once for around 30 minutes.
WF & TT - Not down at all.

Mystic River Falls actually had a good day. It was only down for about an hour and a half total (2 temp closures) during the day before finally closing for the day due to weather around 6:45.

TT was down around 5 times, but they were really short closures and only lasted for around 45 minutes total throughout the day before closing for weather too.
FITH was down once for around 40 minutes.
PK was down twice for around 1.5 hours total.
WF was down twice for around 5.5 hours total.
FM wasn't down at all today.

Construction/Rumors / Re: SDCís 2021 Project(s) and Park Developments

I havenít seen anyone else mention this but the drop on Mystic river falls appears to have been resurfaced. Unless Iím crazy last year it was white rollers, this year itís a black solid surface. Not the best picture, but it shows the black surface of the drop.

Yes, it is different, but here weren't rollers on the drop last year.
The rafts also have a new cover over the handrails.

They have also finished the water blasters at the end of the drop. You can pay to shoot them at the rafts as they go by. It is 2 shots for $1 or 12 shots for $5. You buy tokens out of a machine and then it is one token per shot.

I was going to say...wasn't this supposed to have already happened?

It was announced for the 2020 season, but then was quietly removed from the site.

Almost all HFE property websites were switched to a shared layout about a year ago. Instead of trying to manage so many different web stacks, it makes sense to switch them all to the same one.

I agree that most of the missing links/content is due to them having to pull stuff due to COVID.

PowderKeg needs attention so it can run more than one train again.

It has been running both trains.

Youíre aware it can run 3 correct?

Yes, I was just pointing out that it was running more than one. ďBothĒ was a bad word choice.
