Since they completely gutted the building of anything to do with the Culinary demonstrations...

I believe I saw a post saying that the demonstration kitchen island is actually behind false walls and wasnít removed.

The only down fall for the apple wallet is they don't distinguish if your pass is a gold pass or regular pass. I have to pull it up in the silver dollar city app to get discount for gold pass

Maybe try removing them and adding them again. All of our show the pass level in Apple Wallet. Our family has a Diamond, Gold, and Silver.

Last Tuesday, I actually thought that it looked the best it has looked in years (minus the head that has been falling off most of the season and lack of music in much of the ride.) Very few effects werenít working that day.

Also, on American Plunge, the guy being rescued by his dog was spinning again. I havenít seen that in years.

Itís very early August and Iím guessing that the old playbook changes when youíre replacing a classic.

Looks like a fun ride!
Itís their first coaster with onboard audio.
The pass behind the waterfall will be a fun element for families and it happens right by the midway where people can watch from.
The minimum height is only 39Ē.
Our family loves Dragonflier and FireChaser at Dollywood. SDC could really use a bigger true family coaster like the ones at Dollywood. These are rides that our whole family; even my wife will ride together. They are just fun, nothing too crazy. I could really see Thunderation being replaced by something like FireChaser or Big Bear Mountain when itís time comes.

Their tease started a few weeks ago and they are making their announcement tomorrow (Friday) at 11 eastern. Looks like it will be a livestream on their Facebook page.

Iím guessing that there is some level of coordination to not have multiple Herschend parks make their big announcements too close together.

I did notice that there were 2 full trains in the garage at PowderKeg last night when we were headed back to the station.

Thatís what it is. Itís actually in the fall rack card brochure that is out now. My son picked one up on the way out of the park Sunday evening and I just now looked through it.

Noticed that they were hanging some Christmas lights from the new poles and cables on the Woodland Hike trail. I wonder if the plaza area will be open for an Old Time Christmas and the trail will be like Glacier Ridge at Dollywood.
There were more strands of lights coiled up and not hanging down yet.

*Glacier Ridge photo isnít mine.

There are a number of larger parks with resorts attached that have "private" entrances for resort members.

With Dollywood restructuring their parking, they actually moved the resort guest entrance down with everyone else. There were plenty of grumbles about it on the trolly each day.

Looks like a few parking lots.

I would suspect that these will possibly be used later this season.

There are new steel structures in the ride plaza area. They have also planted trees in the plaza.
The windows in the back of the FireHouse Play Place are quite dirty so itís getting harder to get pictures.
It didnít look like much was going on inside the building, but we were there close to dark.
The side facing Firemanís Landing also has these squares. Not sure if they are to attach theming later on or what.
