Yes, the loop between Fire in the Hole and Grand Expo will now be complete.

They went live yesterday, but they aren't promoting it until tomorrow.

The early presale allows you to renew at the same base price (parking and trailblazer additions are increasing a little).

You can see the benefits here: https://www.silverdollarcity.com/tickets/passholders/

Food discounts stay the same.
Showboat discount is changing and Silver isn't getting it.
Campground discount is Diamond and Gold only now.
Added a Pink Jeep tour discount for Gold and Diamond.
Daily guest ticket discount is increasing to $25 for Diamond and $49 for Gold.

It also looks like the Street Fest replacement will be called Spring Exposition.

I didn't get photos, but there is active work happening at the new land.

Also, the fence along 76 on the side of the new Fire in the Hole is down and work on a new retaining wall is in progress. I wonder if they might be creating a service road on that side of the building to have access to the Plaza area now that the other way is blocked with the entrance plaza of Fire in the hole.

As other parks being to make announcements for 2025 and we approach the year anniversary of the Fire in the Hole announcement event, what are we thinking for SDC?

On another topic, anyone driven by Indian Ridge recently? I don't have any trips planned until October myself, but I am curious if they are moving ahead with earthwork or if they were just clearing and grubbing to make survey work easier.

Last Wednesday I drove by to check it out and it doesn't look like any additional noticeable work has happened. There is the chance that there is stuff happening further down the hill where you can't see from the road, but it doesn't look like it.

Shade material has been added to the Fire in the Hole queue.

For me, the most surprising thing about the FITH queue is lack of covered outside space. For it being the only ride that can remain open in inclemate weather, the weather protected line space is quite small.

Is this wire over the wall new in the TimeTraveler queue? It's on the wall along the section just before your put into groups. I assume that it's an anti-vandalism measure. We hardly ever go through the normal line... typically only ride during first hour TrailBlazer so I've never noticed it.

The fence is down around the new rentals building. It's just rentals storage and the current booth is still where you actually do the rental. It looks really good.

Got some photos today.

What's the "federal government" sign in the first photo? Corps of Engineers boundary?

I wouldn't think so since it's so far from the lake.
At one point the FDIC purchased the land before selling it. I'm guessing that it relates to that time period.

Got some photos today.

For reference, this is what it looked like before. Appears as if trees were cleared, but doesn't look like any actual dirt work has happened yet.

I believe that it is this area circled in red.
