Sounds like a preexisting condition that was aggravated by a ride. Not really the ride's fault.

Well maybe........... ::)

Another water ride - the RiverRush Water Coaster - has allegedly injured a person.  This one earns Dollywood a $2 million lawsuit:  http://www.foxnews.com/travel/2018/06/23/dollywood-sued-for-2-million-by-mom-who-injured-spinal-cord-on-water-park-ride.html

Hmmmm?   I wonder........ ::)

Branson Talk / Re: Proposed Branson Tram Project

I'm pretty sure they would make it all the way to SDC if "someone" helped foot the bill.

Plus, that could be an awfully long ride, especially if these things aren't air conditioned and heated.

SDC and SOTH, ,  BUT that take a lot of "help"... ::)

I saw that "new" proposal/idea.
They have shortened the proposed travel route..
Gondolas now will only go to 76/SOTH expressway on the west side.  NOT out to SDC.
That alone would lower overall cost ALOT..

  I also enjoy the Sons Of The Silver Dollar but the way its going they just might be next.

The wife enjoys The Sons,  But have had group member changes for the last 2 or 3 years.    LOL,  thats hard to do when there are on 3 to begin with.. ;D

Hoss retired.  The lead tenor decided to go back home.  The group is actually better this year.  If you havenít had a chance to see them this year definitely do so.  Tom is the only remaining original member and heís not going anywhere

thats correct and the tenor (jim ellis) that replaced the other tenor, is not with them this year...  LOL.  that like 3 in 3 years..!!   almost like open season..... ::)

Really the 4th at the C.M.I is a great place to swim, chill, fellowship with other members of this group, and enjoy SDR's wonderful fireworks. best 4th in recent memory. Wishing I was gonna be there, Perhaps next 4th

MAN!!!  1 mortar tube falls over!!   and they remember it FOREVER!!!!!!     LOL!

I have since changed that part, I mount ALL mortar tubes to a piece of plywood which in turn is mounted to a table.!!    "Safety First"... ::)

The building replacing Big Jacks is nearing completion.  Itís wooden instead of rock and stucco.  Iíll try to get photos of it soon.

They must have kicked it up a couple of gears since I was there..  All they had was footings, 2 weeks ago..  good for them

Weíve booked our stay for July 1-July 5! I know this isnít the exact place to ask this, but weíve never visited Branson over the Fourth of July holiday. Of those days, which is the best to visit the city? Also, what does Branson do to celebrate the Fourth? Any suggested fireworks?

Enjoy your stay....
1st of all with the 4th on wed.. I would guess about any day of the week,  sunday and after would be ok to go..
.
2nd -  Lots of fireworks in town, The Landing, Chateua, Rockaway Beach.... BUT be aware that this is the 4th annual Team Haygood/Grand Country Wild Bunch Fireworks display at Classic Motor Inn.  I will start setting up tuesday evening, in the rear parking lot. I will start about 10.. usually last 1 1/2 - 2 hours..  I put on what I think is a very good show, lots of big stuff going boom, lots of mortars, Bottle rockets, Roman Candles and some smaller stuff too..   IF you have little kids that want to shoot their stuff, thats ok too. We always have a few kids joining in..  We are leading members of these 2 groups fan clubs and do it for them, their families, friends and the hotel guests.. Although they havent started helping fund the display, we have a real "Blast".    Feel free to bring your chairs, drinks and join in, come down and say hi..... (donations accepted, LOL)

The outdoor effects will never happen again due to the new dining area ó and since the water out there is stagnant due to no longer having that blast you get the sewer water.

They will need to put in a couple of small fountains, or something to circulate water to eliminate this problem.. Then it  would be fine and look good..

I would "guess" Sunday would be a safer day..

There will be people coming to town all week, to stay through weekend..
