I have to go to Branson next Wednesday for "work" to meet up with one of my employees.  I am thinking I may go Wednesday for a while before I have to meet up with him.

Probably a good idea.  wed will be reasonable for the time being... Probably wont get busy during the week until after memorial day..

Today.  as of 4:00-  about 5500 people.. ;D

I mean, they can be interesting. When a storm or something is rolling in, it's fun to check how it looks at the park, or to check how it looks on a day you expect to be crowded, or even just to see how the new coaster is doing.

I would like to monitor the city during a calm heavy snowfall.  I think it would look cool!

What about the cameras, moving or still,  were looked at as  an advertising tool??
As a potential new visitor, a person or family would go to the website, click on cameras and check out the coasters, paths, eateries and landscape.  they see people doing stuff..
would that not be a good selling tool?

To Anyone going tomorrow, Good Luck with the new area around TT and going downhill...

If there is the crowd of people like we think there will be, you wont be able to get within 200 yards of that area.  it will be shoulder to shoulder from Browns Candy to Frisco Barn and over to The Train..
Yeah imagine what Christmas will be like... it was already kinda bad around there when everyone was trying to pile up around that area waiting for the train.

I am surprised at how crowded that new walkway appears to be..  I really looked it over and there 2 or 3 spots there will barley be room for parade, let alone spectators...

I personally do not see the value of it. I have a ton of other fun things to do than look at other people on a webcam. I am sure it would not cost much to install but then they would pay for upkeep and bandwidth. And in reality webcams are boring as sh**.

Hmm.?  that would be a no then.. :D

Parking lots, and traffic on 76.  ;)

YES,  and I thought 1 or 2 overlooking the square, one facing TT/TNT entrance, tall enough to see line and the ride, Train Station, WF & AP, top of suicud hill looking down hill, facing the area around saloon, couple in the OR and Swing area, walkway alongside of The LOst River one at each in, FL,.

We could see so much with just 8-10 cameras,  and they could be stationary...  But adjustable would be even better 8) 8) 8)

^Noticed that too. It started getting bad right there when they did earthwork near TNT for TT. Kinda wonder what happened. The heavy equipment and all the rain we had over the past couple years might have caused a shift.

Sinkhole?.
New Caverns?
Better Call Johnny Morris, he will excavate the area, build a resort and make a fortune on it.  With SDC in the background.!

To this day, if Celebration City was free entry and ride wristband or ala carte with actually late night weekend hours, it would still be open. Heck, this could have been set up in there.

So true.  The idea was ahead of its time for Branson, But if they had structured the user fees differently, I still think it would have worked out fine.. They had decent rides, and a variety of things to do.. too bad...  It could have worked.. :-\
