what to see? in 1 day/nite?..... got to watch the tree lighting at 6:00 pm!!  Ride the train for sure...   Lots of stuff to see on Main street around the tree..  And just walk around and look... BUT be careful  Silver Dollar City accepts no reasponsibitly for strained necks while trying to see everything!  Have fun! we will be there the weekend after thanksgiving and going back the week after X-mas!

Thanks for the answer.. I buy passes and use them on the Belle, but did not know about food discount!..   I wish they would give the pass holders a substantial disount at the Dixie Stampede.....

OK>  question, i was cruising SDC site and read this "Season Pass Holder Savings! Don't forget, Silver Dollar City Season Pass Holders can bring friends for less, and get great discounts on meals throughout the park! "  I wasnt aware of disounts for season pass holders, and i dont see any details anywhere ont he site about it..  Anybody out there have details for me...  sorry no favorite and not favorites but this discussion was for food and drink....

As they say.... " HOOWWDDYYYYYY"!!!!  I found this site last winter and check it 4 or 5 times a week to see whats "new".  I used to go to SDC often and then 7 or 8 years ago just quit doing the Branson scene.  Came down last fall for the festival  and was HOOKED again!!   I immediately ordered my season tickets for this year and have there once a month since April.... I have only logged onto your site 3 or 4 times..  But do enjoy all the discussions..  I just wanted to get started on my newbie status.   and let you know you are doing a great job, and i will obviously continue watching.......

Well as much as I like playing at SDC with all you folks.  I also ride in the sanddunes in Waynoka Oklahoma. Have been doing that for over 30 years.  But always torn on the weekend about which way to point the car.....SDC... or The Dunes....... the city..... the dunes?  Always hard to decide.  I watch this cite religously but seldom sign in.

I bet it was a great weekend weatherwise. We elected to wait until fall festival starts. So far we have been down at least once a month since April..  love that place!

We stay at the Honeysuckle on the west end of town. Love the location. rates are competitive, rooms are always clean. nice parking, breakfast bar.  the help is always clean and professional AND they all speak fluent english.    I am also very tired of the immigrant owned/service at most of the motels in this country!
