Only about 2 " total here close to Cape Girardeau. Kind of makes all the gloom and Doom weather nerds look silly. Run out and buy everything you can get your hands on cause the sky is falling. I always get a good laugh at all the news stories related to weather every time a flake falls. Then I get tired of it and turn on cable.

-32 here last night and it's still-25 and windy out now. Don't want to know what the wind chill is. I'm staying in and doing baby back ribs in the crockpot.

Low temps around zero this morning. Made it to a whopping 14 degrees last time I saw the weather on TV. Benton County road crews did a bit of a better job this go around, I was able to slowly work my way out of my driveway and on into work mid-morning. Slow going, though. Be careful if passing through the area! :)

Our issue is the drifting snow.  MoDOT is having issues keeping 50 clear

Well it is very early Wed AM. I did end up going to work Monday. I woke Monday to a broken outside thermometer. It will go down to -20*. The needle was pegged to -20. "and broke the spring.
The roads was literally ICE. It was simply dangerous, but I got called in and had to go.
(Talk about a wonderful place-the job we are doing is running 5 days ahead of schedule. I would have preffered to stay home Monday and worked Friday-but NO! They decided risking our lives to get the job done 5 days early was very important)
--I mean it is simply a advertising book from Marriott Hotels.  There is nothing about that book that would keep my Jeep glued to the road, or save my life had I wrecked. I sure hope our company gets just a filthy ridiculous amount of money for it. I didnt even get a "thank you" for coming in, and I certainly wont get a bonus. If the company gets a fortune. At least it would pay off for somebody.

Now they are calling for 2"-4" of new snow later tonite. Guess what? Im working tonite also.

We finally get to have school today.  We'll see what happens tomorrow, because like qwed, we're scheduled tp get 2-4" more inches of snow tonight as well.
