Just completed another stay and Homestay inn/Eagle's Lodge.  The kids have officially adopted Paige into the family.  Enjoyed our stay, see you in December. Maybe you can get more work out of Caleb when we come back!

Sounds good! I really enjoyed visiting with you all, it was really fun and now I have a larger family!  :D

We had a wonderful stay at Homestay Inn this past weekend (Sept 10-11). Got to meet Paige and visit with her for a while; even spoke with the housekeeper, she was so friendly. Our King room was clean and tidy. We liked the updated lodge style light fixtures, that was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. The shower was great, with good water pressure. We had planned to use the pool, but went to Cakes N Creams instead for a late evening dessert. The breakfast room was very nice with lodge style ceiling fans and sunny windows; the pastries were good as well, along with the fresh coffee. We enjoyed our stay, especially the warm welcoming hospitality! Thanks for the great deal, we WILL return.
You have a great past just ahead of you.

Yes it was!
And I heard that CheeseHead & Parson were there the same time we were, but never got to meet them.

Did the water temperature stay warm? It never fails that I always end up taking a warm shower that turns frigid cold on me at other places that I have stayed at. :P

I have never lost hot water.  AND i like to soak it up!!   LOL

Enjoyed talking with you too! Look forward to seeing you again! I do like our rooms, a little different than stark white walls, etc. The owner will stay with the theme even with name change. Because of the way the rooms are decorated is one of the reasons why I came on board, unique I guess is the way to describe. AND more updating to follow... ;)

i have a question about homestay inn, the wife and i are planning a visit this fall but still not sure about the date. anyway can anyone tell me if homestay inn has a honeymoon suite and how are the bed's? we have stayed at what i would say is a decent hotel and the beds are horable and what i mean is very uncomfortable. the rooms are nice and clean but the beds are cheap and lost all there comfort. thanks

sanddunerider

honeymoon suite no,  nice clean room with king size bed yes.  and all rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

Several stay at homestay all the time, i have not read any complaints about the beds. I can tell you the mattresses have been updated and you wont find one in the place broke down...  (not allowed)

Our SDCFan rate is 40.00 per nite + tax.  Give them a try, i think you will be pleased.

Call Paige at 417-336-2666

Paige might even make a "Honeymoon Suite" sign and hang it up for you!!  LOL  that is the way she is!

The beds were great. We got the 2 double room, not king. I'm a pretty picky sleeper and had no trouble here, loved the beds.
