Yup, the weather has been bad down this way in Arkansas. The wind was blowing so hard the other day, I saw a chicken lay the same egg three times! Beaver Dam near Eureka Springs opened the spillway gates up all the way...sending much needed (NOT) water down the White River on to Table Rock. Poor ole Branson Landing, it's a might damp right now.

Is it true the "Noah" show has been moved to the Branson Landing lakefront...outside near the fountains?  (OK, bad joke!  ;) )

Many of the hotels/motels have "flood victims" due to the flooding in the areas here (and the ozark area). They need to make sure they keep the receipts for their insurance companies for re-imbursement (a lot of them had not thought of that) and are now getting paid back. If you know of anyone who has had to stay at at hotel/motel due to this, pass on the word. It looks like we are drying out, today was beautiful! I hear the fishing is really good right now too! According to my husband that works at the Landing, it could be two weeks for the lower businesses to open. Good news is Bass Pro has found their dock and will be towing it back soon from Forsyth.  :P

Sun is shining, no wind supposed to be about 60 degrees today! Headed to the city, should be a great day. ;D ;D

Well lets see 4 tornadoes within aboput 10 miles, 2 very close.  Hail, wind lots of rain.  BUT all is well here. ! small  nearby town got a direct hit by tornadoe, hoping all there is ok.

Nice spring storm..  it was nasty!

As I write this, Joplin, MO has just been hit by a NASTY tornado, and sw Missouri is seeing several strong storms and tornadoes. Down here in Benton County, AR, we are bracing ourselves. A tornado is now in Sulpher Springs, AR (eastern part of the county) and is headed toward Pea Ridge! Hang on tight, it's gonna be a bumpy ride! :'(

Joplin's in bad shape. The Weather Channel was following the tornado and is broadcasting live from there.
