I am absolutely thrilled with this. Of course I would've loved a large thrill coaster, but this fits. It all started with a cave...

There's a lot of attention to detail with this. My only "meh" about it is the name, I think it's long and could've been more original, but Oo well. The ride length is excellent and I think the theming will be spot on. Hard to judge on a POV, everyone needs to wait until it's open to really judge.

I'm also a HUGE fan of Daredevil Pass...it's like a new hub area for the park. Well done, SDC!

According to the park, the entire area will be known as Daredevil Pass and will encompass AP, WF, MME and PK

There was a dump truck and some other machinery on Indian Point Road just outside the TT gate when we left the park.  A worker was getting ready to open the gate. 

And finally congrats to hollijo for being the first to post what the ride was going to be. I'm sure a lot us knew you were right, but we couldn't just come right out and say it at the time. 

Okay Swoosh, are you telling us that you intentionally said this was NOT at TNT replacement and also the announcement would be in September to intentionally deceive us into believing hollijo was incorrect? 

The ride was originally supposed to coexist (for at least a year) with TNT meaning it wasn't a replacement (at the time). 

The announcement thing was odd coming together. First it was said to coincide with Fan Fest but then they added the Mini Miners thing and I think it just snowballed to what it was today.  As is, I have no idea what Fan Fest will have to talk about

Holijo congratulations again on being the first to spill the beans.  I know you don't like me and that's completely your prerogative. I am connected to the park.  I personally have relationships with numerous citizens and uppers. Like I've said numerous times this go around I'm no longer interested in the "game" - so congratulations I'm passing the tin foil crown off to you.  Enjoy

Swoosh don't try to correct me now after everything over the past months lol. They have still not fully ironed out details leaving the year up in the air. But yes let's enjoy this "direct TNT replacement" and thank you for the call out of being correct all along.

I saw BA-Adventures, Coaster101, Melanin Coasters, ACE/Negative-G, 🤮 Taylor from CS, Thrill Network and a few random ones I've never heard of before

I'm still not sure why everyone was so quick to to be convinced it would be a Stryker.  Is it because that's the cool new thing from Mack?

My favorite guess was the hyper.  There was no chance that was ever gonna be the correct answer.

Fun announcement ceremony.  Definitely their best one so far (and we've attended them all since PowderKeg). 

Enjoying lunch right now.  Quite the spread.  Not much to see on the construction tour.  They are doing interviews in the station right now.

Supposedly, someone from Mack will be there tomorrow.  Dennis Gordt was there for the Time Traveler media reveal and then Christian von Elverfeldt (CEO) was there for the grand opening of the ride. 

And let's be honest here, yes the park will lose its records, but Outlaw needs new trains and a retrack (IBox conversion) job like what was done for LR at Dollywood.

OR just ride in an odd row.

This may have absolutely nothing to do with the new ride, especially since a lot of speculation leads to it being manufactured by Mack, however, I saw this video about a new style of RMC family coaster (Wild Moose) and thought it was interesting. Again, I know nothing, but wanted to share since SDC & RMC have a strong relationship with OR & FiTH.

I got some pictures today, but really nothing new that has not already been shown earlier this week. There are indeed supports on the Powder Keg side of the station, but they haven't been raised yet. The speed that they have applied theming to they Wildfire side of the ride is indeed most impressive.

They have to get the station presentable as the media is getting a tour of the site after the announcement

I'm just now getting back into all this. Not going to dig too far through the nonsense over the last few pages, but I'm surprised we haven't dug in any deeper on analyzing what this could be.

I think it's because so many of us already know and are just waiting for it to be announced so we can discuss it.

I like how we've matured to only sharing things that can be confirmed online or through photos that you can get LEGALLY inside the park.  It help protects the "fun" of the announcement

Ride concept I just thought up, what if there's like a part in the track where the spike is and there's no roll back and it's just a tilt over like a seesaw or something. Nothing crazy of a grade like 45 degrees up and maybe 60-65degrees back down

I've seen nothing that alludes to the ride being anything other than a complete circuit.  The only switch track is to go into maintenance.
