Hey how busy is SDC these days on actual Labor Day? I understand the weekend itself is generally busy but was wondering about actual Monday.
I tried out the Outback Roadhouse on my last trip in October... I won't recommend it...
What about Honeysuckle?
The Dutton Inn has good reviews.
I really liked Lodge of the Ozarks, but I know they run a bit higher.
Is ozark valley inn no longer American owned?
Where does everyone stay these days? Are there any good locally-owned hotels left? Lodge of the Ozarks is locally-owned, but it's out of my price range.
Read in a recent issue of Branson Tri-Lakes News that this motel has been sold to a developer who is converting it to more permanent lodging. It's the same developer who bought the nearby Angel Inn and converted it.
You are joking right? You think anyone will want to ride it again? I expect it to be closed the rest of the year and I don't think it will reopen until they get new cars and do some PR and finish an investigation to show it is safe.
In order for that to be feasible, there would need to be year-round interest in Branson as a destination. I'm certainly not local, so I can't pretend to be an expert, but I don't get the sense that there's a ton of interest in coming to Branson during January/February. If Branson itself won't draw people then, I don't picture SDC being any different.
SDC now owns the land that the abandoned homes are on.
