Less than 2 weeks until our Disneyland trip...
Can't tell you how excited I am for this one.  Actually going to start posting count down videos for it, we're that excited.

We were there about this time last year. It was my first Disney trip. We are headed back again this year at the beginning of December for Christmas.

I know that our family is waiting until Pumpkin Nights to start until we go back. We already have 3 trips planned. I know of some other families that are holding off on trips until Pumpkin Nights too.

Was there this weekend and rode it in the front row, second row and 5th row. The front row is by far the smoothest. I was surprised how much worse even the second row was.

Was in the park today and had zero wait at all of the kids rides in the morning.

Only issue that we had was a lunch at Wagon Works Grill when the apple slices for my 2 kids meals were about 5 days past their best by date and were slimy. When I took them back to the counter all of the ladies seemed annoyed and tried to give me new bags that had the same date. I finally just asked for apple sauce instead. They didn't seem to care at all that the apples were bad... they took the bags that they offered and I declined right back in the bin on the service line.

Does where you sit seem to have any impact on the severity of the bump?

the front row is the best. Personally, I think the further back you get the worse it is.

I've noticed that the concept art is also showing 8 person boats instead of the 6 that they had before.

It's 8 per raft and 18 rafts total. They will have latching seat belts and not Velcro.

Not much for me to complain about....maybe the lack of a tunnel (from the looks of the drawings) is a big out of place considering the backstory.

There is a tunnel that leads to the lift. Brad talks about the mineshaft tunnel at about the 26 minute mark in the live stream: https://www.facebook.com/sdcattractions/videos/742966136146784/?t=1562

They keep saying that it's the tallest raft ride drop in the Western Hemisphere. Is there being another one built overseas that will be taller?

Happy to see that the minimum height only went to 40" since this replaces a ride that was one of the 36" height rides.

If their live stream wasn't going to actually be live not sure why they allowed others to stream the announcement truly live. Watched the announcement on KY3 well before SDC's FB Live Stream finally got to it.

So are we anticipating a full reveal next Tuesday, or simply another strategic marketing tease of the 2020 attraction?

Since they have it scheduled to do a live video on Facebook, I'm expecting a mostly full reveal. There could always be a few details that they hold back, but I would guess that the majority of info will be released.

The roof is flat for easy access to HVAC equipment just like every other new building they’ve built here recently.  They then build a facade roof around it.

That does seem logical. I think that we were seeing it as odd because there is nothing on the end, but they probably just haven't made it that far with framing yet.

Have any stairs been spotted inside of the new Rib House? My guess is that the odd roofline is because there will be an upstairs area on the back side that overlooks the ride.

Thats not how it is marketed on their website, it isn't listed till you get to three day tickets. I'm just conveying the cost via staying at Disney.

It’s not listed on the ticket page.

On property guests get Extra Magic Hour each day and it rotates between Disneyland and California Adventure. This alone is a huge reason why we stay on property. Virtually no wait in Cars Land for an hour is priceless with kids that are huge Lightning McQueen fans.

The morning that you get with 3+ day tickets is a Magic Morning and only happens on the Disneyland days and not California Adventure.

... and its best to buy the 3 day/one park per day with early morning access with the two nite stay with the park hopper...

Not that it makes a huge price difference, but if you are staying on property you get early access every morning of your stay.
