I will look into tweaking the settings again to allow for larger photos. We don't have a huge amount of storage space though, so I have to keep a reign on it. A lot of photos uploaded directly from cameras are deceivingly huge in filesize.

Facebook is good way to share photos, but you have to know how to do it publicly otherwise it can turn into a headache. Posting directly to the SDCFans page is a good way to do it though because I will see it and share it on the main feed.

There's also, which is one of the better and easier to use free image hosting sites.

Thats why i always use the FB link.. I set the album to public..  and share the link, then I let Swoosh and Shave do their magic...... :D

Well, Our tour of the Capitol was on Comey Circus day. That hearing was in the Hart Office Building where we were at. It was directly 1 floor above us. We were sitting g in the Sentertainment Gallery when Shumer's gave his take. We ate at We the Pizza and 5his was like a super bowl with all tvs on this. The security was insane.

The weather was perfect today and looks to be tommorrow as well and then it hits middle 90's come the weekend.

Very cool.  good luck with the rest of the trip!..  remember...... the clowns are dangerous.! :o

On a side note, I am still really surprised by the lack of excitement or interest with the construction progress compared to other projects from what I can see on a lot of forums and social media groups regarding this coaster, even with the track now being on site. Or is it just me?

Another example on TPR, they are still giving hourly updates on Lightning Rod at Dollywood. lol  ::)

I think you will see an increase in "excitement" AFTER SDC announce the ride and they start promoting it.. Remember, even though we are updating ourselves with pics and any info we can....... SDC is being quiet, no postings, no promotions...  just wait! 8)

Great pics..  really show what kind of coverage the tress will be providing, even though they removed a lot of them for the project....

Branson Talk / Re: Shepherd of the Hills. Not going to Open
« on: June 09, 2017, 06:52:54 PM »
interesting note from their Facebook page that also popped up on the newsfeed here:
We are happy to announce that The Shepherd of the Hills is under contract to new investors and closing will take place in the next few weeks. Major announcements of the new and exciting developments will be coming soon!

Hoping that's good news, but it's mysterious enough that it's hard to tell.  Wonder if this is the CofO thing (which people- e.g Terry Sanders and others-  in the know said was NOT a good thing as it would strip Shepherd, move the cabin to CofO and pretty much kill the play for good) or something else.

I saw this also... I am carefully optimistic... :)

My son and girlfriend are at Dollywood today.  Her guide dog has a reservation at Doggywood!  How cool is that??? I wondered how they would be able to enjoy rides with her guide, but Doggywood to the rescue! Her dog will spend the day on park in her own "cottage with a bed" and her own private kennel run. Thank you, Dollywood, for this excellent service! I wish SDC had something similar.

is this an extra expense?   is there someone there to monitor pets? or do you just put them in a kennel , and pick them up later?

walking through Grandfathers House.

ALWAYS a BIG hit! with young and old.!

You could always take the helicopter ride that goes right over the park

I thought about that also... quick little flight, short hover, a few quick pictures!  done!!.

As far as that goes a good drone could hover above the road high enough to get pictures also without ever crossing over the "property' line..

Pretty sure drones aren't allowed over the park anyway; didn't some guy who posted drone video of SDC on YouTube get in trouble for it last year?

Forget I said anything...... ::) ::)
