A  day of sunshine with temperature at a high of about 34. That helped clear the roads, but overnight, back in the teens and there is a threat of black ice in the morning. Fortunately there is a forecast for sunshine again tomorrow and slightly warmer weather.

We are lucky so far!  Nothing but cold and wind.  29 degrees right now.  Nothing on the ground.

Don't think we'll get above zero today.....staying in and baking. Spring is just around the corner? Right?

Roads in much better shape today. Warmer temps tomorrow...somewhere in high 30s to low 40s. Goodbye, snow! See ya later.

Texarkana never got anything except rain and a bit of sleet.

At our house in NH, it was warmer than anywhere that we track the weather (Texarkana, Shrevport, Kansas City, northern Virginia, even Milwaukee).

WATCH OUT FOR BLACK ICE...I drove into a low valley this morning prior to 6am, slid uncontrollably for 200 plus feet, did a 360, and wound up in a ditch facing the direction I came from! Late for work today, minimum damage to vehicle. Thank God!  :)

It looks like the bad weather is finally going to hit Central Illinois.  Sunny and cold this morning; cloudy now!  Ticker across tv just announced ice beginning at noon and up to 6 inches of snow.  We will see what happens!

West Fork AR, my wife's district, has missed 7 days in a row(all of this week). Just too many roads in the mountains that never thaw after such a cold spell. Lots of Sat School on the horizon.

As a teacher, Saturday school?  That's a double bummer.
