Cheeseheads, don't know how you do it. I have not lived through winters like that since I was a kid in St. Louis, and even then, it wasn't that bad. As I get older I have issues with driving on the stuff, that is why I have stayed home for three days. Monday morning is coming, and I'll have to get out in the 5am hour to drive to work on it. Keep your fingers crossed I don't end up in a ditch...

Cheeseheads Thanks
Junior Safety first. Be carefull

Update, we ended up with another inch of powder this morning. It got partly sunny this afternoon and up to 27. Then this evening it started freezing drizzle to a very light dusting. It is melting off now on the treated roads now. They are saying a chance of another inch or two of snow between now and tomorrow afternoon.

Local kids are happy!  We got a fair amount of ice and schools are closed.

OKC got around 3 to 4 inches of snow. Drove to Salisaw, OK for a gig and there was a lot more ice out that way. Saw a semi that was saved from driving into the lake by the trees

We've got another heat wave.....7 above zero now, very windy and snow since yesterday.....it is beautiful outside....not looking forward to  the nights the rest of the week.....supposed to be -18--25 those nights and only -5 Wednesday.....try to stay inside as much as possible.....it's a good time to start making Christmas candy, cookies and baking bread.

Yeah, you guys just keep that weather down there (along with the school closings).  I want to make it to break without any snow days for the first time in a long time.

It hit 1° a little after 6 am here this morning! Brrrrrr!  My normally 15 minute drive to church last night took about 50 in the snow and traffic. Side roads are still a mess this morning.
