Looking forward to seeing you on Dec. 6. Eagle 1!

Me too! Caleb did a wonderful job on making the reservations! He was on it, had all the right questions and everything! He has a future in this business if he wants one!  ;)

Parson B Ready

Caleb said he does.  Is he still your assistant for guest relations?  ;D
And Kaylee says "Hi" too.

eagle1

Absolutely on Caleb! I would hire him in a second! He is always my assistant when you all visit, no worries there! Tell Kaylee I said "Hello". Really look forward to seeing you all again, it's been awhile!  ;D

We generally stay at Classic during the time Homestay is closed.

I would agree on Classic Motor Inn.. I know it is competition but while I'm closed, they do have a great hotel there! They have been around for many years and have great reviews too! So if you all are going to "sleep around" on me (while I'm closed that is), I'd rather you do it there!  ;)

Thank you Paige for a wonderful stay. We always have a great time at Homestay.

Thank you Deb & Bob! I really do enjoy we you come and love our visits, so much fun!  ;D Look forward to seeing you again soon!

I always stay at Gretna Inn when Paige is closed. They also have rooms for about $40. They have a fridge and micro in every room too. They have flat screens in every room. They do NOT have breakfast (except donuts).  They are very friendly and clean rooms.

But I havent found a hotel/motel/Inn/ or resort that compares to Paige.

Qwed, you might give classic a try, they do have a pretty good breakfast..  the rooms are little bit bigger and if you need/want adjoining room, they have that as an option also..

after we get the Jeep up to where it should be, I likely will not be staying in a room at all. Well except for Thanksgiving. I will probably be taking the camper.  Either way, the size of the rooms is not really important when there is just us 2.

Somebody tell me what is wrong with Gretna though! We stayed there every visit for a very many years. Always treated very well with clean rooms. Actually the cleanest rooms Ive ever experienced in a motel.  Im not sure why they sound so bad to you guys. Please clue me in. Every time I mention them I get lots of backlash. I guess they treated somebody real wrong in the past. Please tell me why the mere mention is worse than foul language. I mean they do not compare to Homestay, (but nobody really compares to Homestay). But with millions of rooms in the area, there are bound to be some that are OK. Ive done OK at Gretna in the past. Others at Classic (which I have stayed also for Plummer reunion weekend). I think we should just get the PTB to keep Paige open year round.

Would like to say that we had a good stay at the Homestay.  Good clean room with good maid service, nice staff (although we sadly didn't get to meet Paige)...and overall a good breakfast for what you pay for.  Will stay there again when the boat isn't brought down.
Small wonder our lives have so little of God in them, when we come in touch with so little that God has made.
