Have been taking to Paige about opening date for 2013..
Have also been in contact with the "person" handing the FB page for Paige also..
NO answer on opening date from either one right now, I am pushing for being open for opening weekend.... .

Just a thought, i was cruising around on the net today. not much else to do with snow and 10 degree windchill!!  LOL.. 
IF you have not been on Trip Advisor to leave Paige a review lately, might be a good time to do so.. 
They are currently rated 41 out of 164.. you can leave reviews every 90 days... so.. jump in there!..

 Let's see if we can get Paige's rating up before they open for the season..

Oldsdcr...you mean Econo Lodge?   or the Best western that is on the eats side of town, near old branson...both are "sister" stores...  Paige is on vacation right now..LOL.(went on a cruise)!!!!  yea great!! -3 degrees here the other day and she is in the gulf somewhere.....

Anyway last i talke to her, nothing had been decided, and i the gal that is taking care of the FB account for homestay and she didnt know either..


Keep hoping!!  I will see Paige this weekend this weekend, and will find out whats going on? (if anything)

FYI-  I am staying at the classic Motor Inn this weekend, 1st time there for me anxious to check them out.. Katy seems to be the manager there, has been very helpful and seem to be a great lady..

Will leave my "review" when I get back sunday nite..

Well since there is no answer to what Homestay is doing, I made reservations at Angel Inn for opening weekend. 2 Queen beds, indoor pool and hot breakfast for $47.99 with a SDC discount.

OK....Talked to Paige Saturday.

Econo-lodge will be opening the 1st of march..

Homestay??  Paige is meeting with PTB this week, for now it is april 1.....BUT she is going to try for March 15th, Now gaurantees..

SO for now, call Econo, IF you dont want to stay on that side of town, check out my review in Cllassic Motor inn, They are just down the street from Homestay, and winter rates are 40.00..

Talked to Paige again today,

Homestay will not be open until April st, But the good news is that during the month of March there will be some work/updating going on there.. Paige will fill in  later with all the details....

Econon lodge will be opon March 1st, and is supposed to be answering the phones and taking reservations now..  I have my reservations for my b-day weekend,  march 23,24,25th...

Dont forget econoLodge matches our 40.00 SDCFan rate, ANd they also have a pretty complete breakfast..  I have not stayed there yet, BUT will post my review after my trip next month,.

Does Econo Lodge accept pets?
It's not a deal-breaker, sometimes we like to travel with our dog, and sometimes she stays with the vet.

YES.. Pets are allowed at Econo Lodge.
