Not lumber camp? (BTW I set the topic to Sticky which keeps it at the top of the feed along with the 2012 WITC game)

This was connected to the saloon when they were doing stunt shows, but I'm not sure what it is called other than the entrance to the lumbercamp

OKIEBLUEGRASS...1 (Good enough answer. The two guys in the summer of 1980 were professional stuntmen shipped in from LA. They performed little skits on Main Street at the old Shot Tower, at the tower at the Lumbercamp, and at the diving bell. They also took part in the Eaton Doolittle political campaign parades that election year that started on Main Street with a rally, and wound up at the diving bell. In the photo presented here, the stuntmen are "clumsy workmen" who botch a job at the Lumbercamp tower, and using a wire cable propel themselves over the crowd to the balcony of the Saloon where they crash landed.)

SO FAR THE TOTAL:

OZARKS GAL..........5
Betamike...............2
Trams...................1
Okiebluegrass.........1

Mystery Photo #9: The unidentified group in this photo is playing music in spring, 1979 at a now discontinued SDC festival. Name the festival.

SDC used to have a spring festival celebrating plants, gardening and springtime in general.  I can't recall the name though.  It was around for a short period prior to the advent of World Fest.

Nope, the festival I'm talking about pre-dates that one. I can't believe I've stumped ya'll on this one. Look again at the photo, guess what kind of music they were playing. Hmmmmmm.... ;)

How about a mountain, hillbilly, or bluegrass music festival?

I need the specific name of the festival. Come on, look back through any old memoribilia from the period you might have. It really is easy. This was a very popular festival held from the mid-70's through at least the mid to late 80's.
