Just booked a room for tomorrow night.  Looking forward to a fast and fun two days.  Anyone know if the car show/ parade is Friday night and Saturday night or  Saturday night?

I am sure the cruise is sat nite, and best of all.  they drive right in front of the motel!  have a great weekend!

Dune is correct. The cruise is sat at midnight and soth expy is the route will be going right past eagles lodge. Btw hi paige! :)

Hi Everyone! We will be busy and yes cars are already here....even have a Monster Truck staying, it's pretty cool! Hearing the roar of engines out on SOTH tonight so if you want quiet, well that's not going to happen' (hee hee!). The "parade" is Saturday so bring your chairs and get them out there, already have people marking their territory with chairs. Yee Haw here we go!  ;D ;D

We stayed at Eagles Lodge on Friday night and the room was great!!  I'm don't know much about their operation or how long they have owned this motel, but it was very obvious that our room had recently been updated (especially the bathroom)!  We were only in town long enough to do WW Friday and SDC Saturday.  We were probably in the room no more then 10 hours, just long enough to sleep.  We didn't meet Pagie, but the staff we interacted with were very friendly an pleasant!  My daughter just had to get her picture with the monster truck parked out front.   Wished we could have stayed Saturday night for the car show parade. Thanks Eagles Lodge!!

Great picture! Wish I could have met you too! I'm sure I was out running errands or sleeping in, up till about 4:00 am Friday waiting for guests to show running late. Next time for sure!

Have good news! The new sign just went up today so we are now officially "HomeStay Inn"!!!! I'm excited! Now, new thread or can we add to the current? I will be getting the sponser logo updated asap. For now both websites still work, eventually the Eagle's Lodge site will automatically send to the Homestay one. See ya all soon!  ;D

We're seriously considering staying there next year for the cruise instead of camping. At the rate you give us, it's almost cheaper. I was wondering if there would be a problem with a little grilling and tailgating in the back corner of the parking lot? Not a kegger or anything, it just really expensive for 6 people to eat out for 3 days straight. We would probably 3 or 4 rooms for us and our friends.
