Pool status - we are re-pumping out rain water again, trying to re-clean/paint tomorrow, then start filling.....not sure if it will be up before Sun. Sorry! The weather has been problimatic as I'm sure you are aware. Again our guests can use the pool/hot tub at our sister property Best Western Landing View. Our pool will be up early to mid next week if not before.

what all does the eagles lodge offer for breakfast? n also r the beds comfortable???

beds i think are very comfy.. Every room has a fridge-coffee pot-Microwave

breakfast:
2 types of cereal
Milk of course
Orange juice
Fresh Waffles
Toast/Buns/Danish
Pastries: donuts- multiple  kinds
Oatmeal: different flavors
Coffee
Tea.

Great to hear they have a fridge and microwave. Its nice to be able to take a "to go" box from a restaurant back to your hotel. I hate leaving leftovers.

Thanks sanddune for keeping folks updated. Got a new cast on Friday, can use the elbow but barely......had some pain issues  . Better today though, only one more month to go!

Hey Rube, thanks for the great review on TripAdvisor! So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, any suggestions are always appreciated as well.

Pool....needed a new pump, is installed, should be up this week. Apologize for the delay.

Another note, going back to the doc Tues.....the new cast is not working (think it was put on wrong) so I may be out of service a few days but please know my staff will take good care of you!  See you soon sanddune!

As for your wrist...
I was in an air cast for a ruptured ulnar ligament in the thumb for 6 weeks, a hard cast for 4 weeks (I know this seems backwards), and then a neoprene brace for 2 weeks, along with 4 weeks of physical therapy. I know how it feels to use one had, and still I have trouble (this all happened between October, and January). There were times with my hard cast where I had shooting pains, and I felt as if it was not in the right place, or needed to be re-cast. I still find things I cannot do, and things I have pain with (opening bottles, turning keys, holding things) Hang in there!

Paige, I didn't get to speak to you when we checked in this afternoon. You were busy helping some other guest. I'm sorry to hear about your arm.
I am very please with the room. Everything looks clean & new. I have all our groceries loaded into the good-sized fridge, and my hubby and boys are sleeping peacefully on the comfy beds. I hope to join them in La La Land soon! LOL!
I hope I'll get to meet you before we leave Friday, but you take care of your arm!

Thank you all for the good wishes! I did get a new cast today finally. Soooooo much better! Hard to explain but yeah not put on right by the dr's assistant..hope she doesn't get in too much trouble over it (I fractured the distal radius & the ulna). Wow rube, you went through a lot (makes me wonder what contraption I'll be in after this?)!  I just keep praying mine will heal right...so far no surgery and want to keep it that way.

Mandy, would love to meet you too! I'll be back on shift Friday but do live on-site & check in on my staff often. Maybe tomorrow afternoon or later in the evening, ask Cherie to contact me & I would be happy to come down. 

Good news on the pool! It will be up by friday afternoon...filling now then need to ad chems. Finally! Though I'm still nervous to get near it....

Two things! Pool is up - lots of folks/kids still out there....water a little chilly but hot out for the next week so all is good.

We have launched the new website for the name change to Homestay Inn, www.homestaybranson.com; running both websites for a few. We will probably use the new logo/link on this site in a few weeks; & you will see that as well on Tripadvisor, etc. No worries, all price, etc stays the same for our members. New sign coming soon!
