i think you will find this weekend "slower" than usuual..
the weekend after memorial day has a slower traffic count.  and SDC is usually slower mon-tue-wed...


That is what I am counting on,..  Headed down tomorrow (sunday).

yes cocodane our discount is 40.00 per room, no matter double queens, single king, or the handicapped rooms.  all one rate.  as many as you need. we are brong froends this weekend and have 2 rooms saved back for us...

Are you expecting to be busy this mon-wed? Is branson prpojected to be busy?

Its still pretty slow for Branson overall (we are busy here at the hotel this weekend which is great!), beginning of the week usually is slow and will have rooms available, most guests check out on Sundays.

I was there for Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, but then had to rush off to Salina/Bennington Kansas for 5 shows in 3 days. The Ramada I stayed in there is not half as nice as Eagle's lodge. Paige, you're awesome!

Well, I must confess, I have ALWAYS stayed at the same motel for the past 10 or so years.  I'll not name the motel, but we were always given the "local" rates, received special discounts and I liked the location.  On this strip, but "off" the strip.  Welp, apparently the motel has new owners and I'm here to say I will NEVER darken their door again.  Wife was treated rude when we checked in, room smelled terrible, only had two towels (there were 4 of us) and each day we had to request additional towels!  Saturday we spent at SDC and was going to the Dixie Stampede so we ran to the room for a quick change only to find they did not clean our room that day!  When we reported it to the office, she acted like it was our fault!  This place has REALLY went downhill.  Again, I'll not be back!  We thought about staying at the Eagles Lodge, but....I've always stayed at this place and I hate breaking tradition.......I should have known better. 
Paige, you now have another loyal customer from here on out!  On our way home, I drove the family by your place and I said "Look kids...that's where we'll be staying from now on!"

how close is this place from SDC? i checked out their site but cant really tell. we are going to SDC in july & we too have always stayed in the same motel, but, the woman just cant find beds that are soft enough for her.

how do.. the motel is 1/2 mile north of 67/shepherd of the hills stop light. It is all open road, no in branson driving.   (That is the very west edge of branson)

Yestarday morning i pulled out of the lodge and it took less than 10 minutes to get there and get parked.

cool, thanks sanddune! just want a soft bed so the woman will have a good nights sleep. we always take sleepin' bags & pillows for her to sleep on & she still has problems. me? i can sleep on anything.

wellllll my lady says the beds remind her of pillowtops..??    dont know.  AND you might ask Paige, she may have some "softer" bed than others.....
