dewey, the way i understand it, there are 3 or 4 motels in the area with the word "eagles" in it.. Gets confusing for some people. So the PTB came up with the "homestay" name.. catchy ! huh?...

on another note, cherie is a sweetheart, and yes everybody there is great!

We are just waiting for the sign......the first order for the sign I guess was not measured right by the sign company, etc?

As soon as the new sign is up then we will drop the Eagle's Lodge. Should have the sign in the next 2 weeks from what I'm told. We are running both web sites: www.eagleslodgebranson.com & www.homestaybranson.com for now. Plus will put the new logo up on this sight as well.

Lois is the elder of our crew, she has been here for 5 years and keeps on ticking! She is going to be 81 this year and can run circles around us sometimes. She keeps on impressing me!

FYI, Go ahead and get your reservations in asap for December as the owner is going to decide when we will close for the season (usually after the first week). The more reservations I have, the more I can convince to stay open longer!

Got it in the system....the end of the month may not happen but trying to stay open at least till the 15th, putting the dates in anyway though. Thanks!

Well not sure on the thread, will have to start another or maybe just add the HomeStay Inn to the thread title? $:-\$ I'm going to keep my handle, I like it plus don't want to confuse too many members.

Hello All! Hope all is well with you! We'll be checking in this weekend. Can hardly wait--it's been 6 years since we last came and this board has been great to get caught up on everything happening in Branson

My only concern is how we will get everything done in only 3 full days. This is a special Birthday gift/trip for our daughter ---she turns 14 next Friday and she is excited for SDC/White Water but we are also surprising her with Titanic---she's a huge fan and then of course we finally decided on Haygoods, Kung Fu and Cat's Pajamas!

I'm sure since your a smaller motel you don't have anything special but just wondering if you do anything for Birthday's in the room?? We did have a cake delivered one time when we traveled and that was fun for our DD.

It was nice talking to Paige on the phone she is very nice as all of you have said.

Any advice on what we can do the night we check in---it will probably be 6 or after so a quick bite to eat and then we should have time to do something--How late are the shops open??
