This is just me daydreaming and sharing a cool idea i had. So don't take this as anything other than that. But it would be SO COOL to have a stryker that starts somewhat similarly to voltron but a but different. It starts by pulling out of the station with some gradual curves and slopes towards a mine entrance with some kind of warning sign. (Think gentile "pre lift" section with some nice flowy curves). After the train pulls in it comes to a stop. You see some warning signs of blasting and you hear some cracking in the cavern and some rumbling before the train suddenly drops down into a lower shaft. (Drop track instead of the "bounce track" on voltron). Once the train settles on the bottom in the darkness you hear a hissing sound along with the faint light of fuses slowly burning along the walls towards the back of the train. Before suddenly a large explosion goes off behind you, launching the train quickly forward, up and out of the mineshaft along with some lighting and smoke effects! (This sequence would Happen pretty fast) but this would be such a cool way to kick off an amazing coaster and I just had to share the idea. Again, I don't think this will happen but I love sharing my wild ideas lol. If I had the skills in FVD++ and could put the terrain in correctly I'd love to make my "pipe dream" layout with all the cool ideas but for now I'll just share them here 😅. Anything yall have been dreaming about when thinking of what you'd do with this coaster?

Anyone see any supports (or even track) recently? If so any sense of scale yet? I know some have reported supports near outlaw run but I'm curious as to how beefy or tall they looked

Looks like it could be pretty similar to this structure based on the base!

Has there been any significant progress since the last update?

I wish we could get an up-to-date overhead shot of the whole site! I'm curious as to what the layout is looking like, and it's pretty hard to tell from ground level. Just need the park to fly a drone over and release a teaser lol
If anyone does happen to draw a footer map, that would be amazing! Not sure I'll get to the park anytime soon to really get an idea of things to draw one out.

Saw a new teaser on Facebook as well with a sign that says "Coming to Silver Dollar City Soon A New Adventure Awaits!" Next to what looks like a bunch of minecarts with covers over them

Would love to see an updated footer map if anyone can sketch one up! Haven't been to the park since any of this started, but so excited to see where this project goes! I would personally love to see a Stryker coaster here like Voltron, but that may be wishful thinking

Could you imagine Mack's take on Mystery Mine, but as a Stryker coaster like Voltron!

Did anyone else notice the LARGE roller coaster in the background of the concept art? Maybe they're hinting at the next big coaster for the park! Obviously, that's just speculation but I don't think they would go out of their way to put it there if it didn't have any significance.

August 10, 2023, 07:39:20 PMQuote from: cowboy on August 10, 2023, 03:14:11 PMWhile honestly it's doubtful I'd really like to see a mild drop track or slight tilt track. Nothing to make it more intense or thrilling per se but just some cool effects to add to the story and experience of the ride. With that said though I've got a feeling it will be pretty similar to the original, just a bit more "modern feeling".
Looking at those pictures, do you think this is going to be more similar to the original FITH than not? I was worried with RMC involved that we might have some more daring track maneuvers but that little dip and the drop in the back of that photo doesn't seem too crazy.

Update, rode Fire in the Hole today and there's a new sign at the beginning of the ride that says volunteers needed!

They posted the same exact picture to Instagram for a second time today. Very curious as to what they're doing

I played with the exposure and brightness of the image to see if there were any hidden messages and sadly I didn't find any. However, there is a faint shape of what looks like a girl on the cover of the book. This could be absolutely nothing but still fun to speculate! https://quickshare.samsungcloud.com/qoOxTHyefAnO
