I was just checking schedules for the Belle..  I had not noticed they are having 2 shows on NYE, and 1 on New Years Day.  This is to coincide with SDC extended days this year..

Sure hope the weather is decent that week.  will be interesting to see how that works out for them.

He did this version of the tree too, if I recall correctly. He's literally done everything with lights in Branson. I'm not sure if there's even anyone else to call.  ;D

LOL>  Theres not.

They just need to call Michael Haygood and let him "handle" it..  His work with LED lights and programming is 1st class.. and is World Class..

He already has done and maintains the Ferris Wheel, The mountain coaster on 165, And Bigfoot on the strip.

Construction/Rumors / Re: SDC's 2018 Project(s) and Park Developments
« on: October 15, 2017, 02:39:26 PM »
Obviously a long way to go before March 2018, but man I sure hope a sufficient update to the area in front of and around TNT & TT is still part of the overall development plan for the addition. That area is going to be an absolute nightmare to traverse if they do not address it.

Additionally, I know it's been mentioned that it appears an observation deck will NOT be a part of TT. Can anyone tell me why the PTB would not see value in allowing non-riding patrons or those on the fence about riding their largest ride investment to date the opportunity to watch the ride on action first especially given the already growing concerns about the presumed intensity of a spinning launched and inverted coaster? Just doesn't make an ounce of sense to me. Also seems like a miss given its location where a view from the front of the load station seems to almost overlook the majority of the circuit.

I would guess since in order to ride, you walk down stairs to the lower floor, and then circle around up to next floor and then finally the launch floor..  That may be the observations points... there are windows on those floors on the East side.. So?   Is that the observation area?

So I was at the park for a little while sunday morning..
I have a few pics of new building... what I could get..  LOL.
few Pics of RR Engine on display at the depot,
and several pics of the new Midtown Christmas Facades and displays. This area is going to look fantastic after dark!!.

you must be signed into FB to use this link...... Shave- Swoosh, use pics if you want to..... ;D

Like it or not, Christmas Season will soon be here and then over...  Winter is coming, shows shut down, SDC closed, Motels closed.....

DONT forget Classic Motor Inn is open ALL year around, We still have a great discount rate of 40.00  (talk to K.D.),  AND after the first of the year, I think the rate will only be 35.00 per night through most of MArch!  Thats right, cheap rooms for Spring Break!!

SO?  Goin to Branson? Christmas, ? Off Season? Next Year?  Give her a call..!

We Love this place.!
