Are the gate prices excessively expensive?  When compared to Disney and most Orlando parks, signs point to no.

The food tasted fine to me last time I was there.  I'm eating at Reunion Hall on Saturday and I'll let you know how the food was when I get back.

In case you needed more of a reason to go to Coaster Christmas.  GMA (Good Morning America) will be taping the weather LIVE from SDC 6am to 7am.  If you bring an unwrapped toy you can be part of the audience and receive a FREE ticket to the park to use anytime during December. First 500 people to arrive are allowed to attend and get the ticket!!!

I'm curious where you work too, because what you are saying and what I have seen and heard are not matching up.

ideaman, even if you have worked at the park for 10 years it doesn't mean you know anymore than the GP.  I guarantee that I know more about what is going on then you do, 'course you don't have the connections I do.

So maybe a "ROCK"-toberfest thing should go on during the Fall.

It really isn't that expensive if you have an annual passport.  That saves you money on admission, food and other things as well.  Not only that, who says you have to spend the night down there?  4 hours is not that far of a trip to do a down and back if you really wanted to go more often.

No.  Dollywood doesn't draw much more than SDC.

Hmmm, I guess I don't understand your question.  The attendance was up actually by quite a lot.  SDC outdrew all of the other parks in Missouri and almost SFStL and WOF combined last year.

The hourly employees won't know a thing and honestly I STRONGLY ADVISE NOT asking them.  As was mentioned it annoys the heck out of some of them as they don't know or care and are just as surprised when it is announced as you are.

$26 for ACE/SDC passholder members is a steal

We might be down after the MU-Texas A&M game, but have no time frame.  Probably would be an "in and out" trip for PR stuff...

The real meet up will be on Dec 1st if you want to come

No, but it sounds like someone else has bought the Red Roof Outlet Mall -- it will be interesting to see what they do with it.
