I'm at a loss on this one.  While KBCraig has the answer I would find acceptable, I need to ask you guys if you consider the mortar to be next to the big cannon.  I don't know exactly where the cannon is.

KBCraig

Heh, I'm not really playing, I was just pleased to be able to give an answer for a change.

On our June visit, one of my boys pointed out "that little cannon", and I took the time to explain that it wasn't a cannon, it was a mortar, and pointed to the real cannon. As an old Redleg, I never miss an opportunity to educate people about artillery pieces.  ;)

Please don't consider this a plea for the point. I'm just being conversational.

I've got one just like it, I've been reenacting artillery for about 10 years now...those coehorns are a lot of fun.

That's all I needed to hear, but would still like to add KBC to the scoreboard at some point so don't count yourself out of the game.  Just getting on the board is hard enough with some of these guys ready to pounce 24/7. :)

The Wilderness Church.
They have remodeled from hand hewn logs to hand stenciled cinder blocks!

Only Kidding... okay no really would'nt that be considered Red Gold Bathrooms though?

History Buff

You guys!  Why do you make me do this?  I have to give this one to rd.  The RG has been there longer than the GE, and has developed an identity of its own.  Sorry, SF.

I did get some strange looks when I took that picture!  I was smart enough to take it from the foyer area, though, and didn't actually take a picture from inside the restroom.

My gut tells me that it is inside the cave where you take your picture but I'm starting to think Rube might be right......
