There was just two guys doing it, and they had to remove all the steel track first, so a little at a time... Like a slow, painful, death...  :'(

Thanks Tinman,, that makes complete sense now... Would take a little longer with just 2 guys!!............  LMAO!! ::)

Hurts almost as much as seeing Zingo chopped up.

Funny way to do it though. I didn't think it was going to actually work.

I heard the wood was so toxic from weather treatment that the local landfill wouldn't take it.

Here's an article from the 12/16 edition of the Springfield News-Leader. Also has a video.

I have a video on my youtube channel from back in April. How much will be gone by the 28th-31st? I'll be in town to visit SDC and hopefully get some more pictures of CC.
Am I the only one that thinks PowderKeg is the best coaster at SDC?

I was there Saturday and its already gone.  They were doing the final clean up sweep up when I drove by.  What a vacancy that coaster has left.

I think the two guys were just there for the setup.

It's going to be a shock to come around the hill on 76 and see it gone. I just wish we had some hope for something, anything, new to come to that spot. Seems like so much wasted potential after all the hype that was surrounding Branson just before the crash. Remember when we had like three major resorts coming to town?

Wow. I can't believe it's gone. The first GCI to removed. That is truly sad. The only thing I can hope for is that something new will be built. I feel honored to have seen it still standing and gotten some great footage.
