That is super exciting. I am really wondering when supports/track will get onsite.

Looks like the foundation for the station has been made between the lifthill of Wildfire and first hill of Powder Keg. Will share photos after we leave today.

Here is a look of things on the Wildfire side. That looks like a station foundation to me, but it could be anything at this point.

I do notice a building way in the back - directly to the right of the porta potty roof. I believe that is on property, must be a BOH building.

Obviously more footers being made on this side as well.

tmstephe

Is it typical for footers to have conduit running to them? Would this indicate a launch in this area?

ColaSDC

I was there yesterday and I can confirm that there are a TON of footers. Especially on wildfires lift you can see them. The general layout really makes me think hyper, or at least an airtime-focused ride. Mack and Vekoma are my top 2 manufacturers for this project.

Wildfire

I'm pretty sure those two pallets are concrete forms instead of pavers

I am glad they appear to be putting in effort with theming and landscaping around the new ride. One of my only disappointments with TT was how it still looked like a construction zone well after opening.

...Especially when they leave undisguised modern lift equipment on site for ongoing maintenance.

They are. The other side says forms x-feet. There are a few around the site and they say how long the forms are on the box.

When riding the train, right after you go under Outlaw Run, far off to the left in the new gravel lot, there appeared to be a few black supports. Could also be something else, but they sure did look like round metal supports.

^Did they have flared square ends? Those are the standard design Mack support columns. If not it may have just been standard water/sewer pipe.
