Help me out here folks. Guy with the beard (yeah cuz there was only one of them). Worked at the park a long time...may have been bald...may have worked as a glassblower...

My brain may be remembering things wrong  :)

Aare you sure you are not thinking about Shad, the blacksmith and town mayor?

Guy with beard, was bald...hmm this sounds like the kids game "Guess Who"

No really, there was an etcher that worked at the glassblowers show for years that fits the bill...George Stiverson.
Is this the guy?

coalesce99

No...

Sorry to bother everyone with this inane thread :) For some reason this guy's image popped into my head. The human brain (or mine anyway) can be strange.

I think you are talking about Terry Bloodworth.  He was the Master Craftsman glass blower during the Crafts boom of 80's and 90's.   He now has his own shop in Springfield, Mo.

I'd include a picture here, but there's not much to go on.   You can find a grainy photo of him if you google his name and silver dollar city.
You've Got A Great Past Just Ahead Of You!

Sorry but I think there needs to be another crafts boom

Hey, this one time, back in the '70s, I saw a really cute girl wearing a long prairie dress and a bonnet. Anybody know her name?

;D

Junior

I knew her name back then, but, more importantly...I got her number! ;D   Don't recall her name now.
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

Aunt Mollie

It could have been Ray Jones.  I don't know if he did etchings, but he was a glass blower and fits the description.
