I remember her from the ACE Christmas events over the years. Always was a great representative of the park and just a nice person in general.

Not my video but someone did take footage recently. And those are some pretty beefy footers. Coaster is definately bigger than Time Traveler.

She was a really sweet lady and she was awesome dealing with us media folks and with the coaster enthusiast community. She was a lot of fun to chat with during various events at the park including Coaster Christmas events. She even made a surprise visit with us during media day with FITH last year. She will be missed.

Got to see it for myself on Friday. I posted a few photos on the SDCFans FB page. The footers now seem to be mostly in place unless there are more coming. There is a straight line of footers along the first hill and drop of powderkeg down into the woods where it swoops around. Then it comes back up right next to wildfire. The track will be very close to both rides. They are cramming this thing in there.

Doesn't look like AP is being replaced. They not only extended the entrance to the tunnel, but also rebuilt the shed before the lift hill and the return water channel. Looks like it will be around for at least a decade more if they put that much work into it. Big missed opportunity to re-enhance the tunnel back to what it was like originally though...

Lisa worked at SDC from 1989 through 2022. She also worked with Herschend in promoting the Grand Palace, the Showboat, the Rockettes at Christmas, and other things.

^ Though I love your idea about putting in a Baldknobbers museum I don't see that happening because most visitors wouldn't give a flip about the history of the area.  Sad.  I would love to see another indoor ride in the old FITH location.

if they replace flooded mine, I feel like they'll keep it in its current spot. (honestly I don't think they'll replace it. they need new rides, not replacements.) the next ride to close, its tough to say. I think they are done with closures for a while.
