The footer layout doesn't lend itself to anything massive. There appears to be one long straight section running parallel to the PK launch/first hill, then a swoop down the hill, but other than that there are a ton of tightly spaced footers up the hill between AP and PK. Seems like it'll have to be something with tight turns and compact track. Also, the station is fairly short. All of that lends to the stryker idea.

I guess we only have to wait a couple more months to find out. I wouldn't be surprised if supports start going up before then though. Not sure how much more foundation level work they need to do, but it sure seems like it could go vertical any day.

The tight bundle of footers between PK and AP is what is currently swaying me away from the whole "mine train" idea that's been floating about. When I think of a mine train, I think of at least 6 to 12 car trains. It's hard to imagine something of that size being able to navigate whatever goes in that area.

I didn't get screenshots either but here's what I posted after I got the survey with the 3 choice names:




I got an email a couple of hours ago from SDC about the naming of a new family coaster being built.  The name choices were:

Miner's Rush
Prospector's Rush
Daredevil Railway

I was asked which name I preferred (I picked Miner's Rush) and which names fit in with the theme of the park.  I was then asked who I thought the name would appeal to (pre-teens, teens, adults, older adults, etc).  Then I was asked to put the names in order as 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice and I put them in the order above.  The first questions asked were if I and my family were season pass holders and to choose from the last 5 years if we had bought season passes (we have all 5 years).  Unfortunately this sounds like a T-N-T replacement to me.

None of these names have any active, pending, or historical filings in Class 041 (Amusement Park Services) with the USPTO.  I can't imagine SDC would publicly release potential ride names without having secured (or at least applied for) the trademark first, be it through a shell company or outright. 

Good point, it's interesting tho  because they don't have any trademarks out for ride names (Where they have a lot for new shops and restaurants) They obviously know what it's going to be called I think they are just waiting to trademark it until it's closer to the announcement so people like us don't find out.

I'm not trying to be argumentative but I just wonder why do you assume this survey was for a 2029 coaster? SDC calls all their coaster "family coasters".

My guess right now is a Stryker like Voltron but with Mining theme.

SDC sent out a survey on a family rollercoaster coming in 2029.  This appears to be something like Big Bear Mountain or the new Werewolf Canyon coming to SFFT in 2027. 

My thoughts are that THIS will be the TNT replacement.

TNT's replacement is coming in 2027. This will either be a STRYKER, Hyper or another family coaster. Also to be built by MACK.

Do not cite the deep magic to me witch, I was there when it was written.

In other words, get lost kid
