Construction/Rumors / Re: Project 2026 Tracker
Last post by Swoosh - July 31, 2025, 07:19:08 PMToo many moving parts. Too many pots in the fire right now. Personally I think this is a 2027 addition. Supposedly there's something coming next season but this is not it. No idea. Also there's apparently something coming this season over by FITH but not a ride though. I'm guessing something to enhance the theme over there. Only thing I can think of is maybe a new Fireman's Cemetery? I think that's the only thing they didn't recreate for the new FITH
BEWARE there's lot of misinformation going around right now. It's getting difficult to shift through everything. Be careful what you share. I've seen this before

General Silver Dollar City Talk / It’s the Same..
Last post by DianaGail - July 31, 2025, 03:24:44 PMThey are the same thing. When pointed it out, SOTH deleted my comment.
I know that there was a Pumpkin Nights logo that looked even more like the new SOTH logo. Can't find it though.

Last post by legoerosion - July 31, 2025, 08:21:49 AMHonestly, with the resort opening in "late" 2026 I could see them deviate from their normal "ride open on opening day" and move the opening date to coincide with the resort's grand opening.

Construction/Rumors / Re: Project 2026 Tracker
Last post by mg - July 30, 2025, 02:18:51 PMI'm wondering about attendance and if that could be why it now appears to be for 2027.
The calendar was adjusted last week:
Adjusted Hours on These Fridays:
The park will have slightly earlier closing times on:
• Sept 12, 19, 26
• Oct 3
• Nov 21
• Dec 5, 12
Date Changes:
The park will now be closed on Sept 8, Oct 22, Nov 25, and Dec 17.

Last post by shavethewhales - July 30, 2025, 08:28:35 AMThat guy is 90 something years old and was clearly being duped through targeted manipulation tactics. Fortunately most of his money was already tied up in trusts, but this was elder abuse to get whatever they could.
We all assumed that this guy was leading the charge - like he wanted to go out with a bang and build something to be remembered by. It's crazy that it was never actually his idea and he was being strung along with it. I honestly didn't see it coming, despite our obvious doubts that anything like what was presented would actually be built.

Last post by shavethewhales - July 30, 2025, 08:26:30 AMThat is definitely an indication that the larger part of this new expansion isn't coming until 2027. We know "something" is coming in 2026, but at this point I am guessing it is only the pathway connector and perhaps a new food stand or something else along it. If the new ride was coming, they'd be saying something by now. Announcements for next year should be coming in the next few weeks.
