Last few times I rode THE GUNS DID NOT WORK AT ALL. So it was very frustrating. Let's just get rid of everything that made SDC special and sell it to six flags. That's what its turning into anyway!!!!

Linda and Real from the Classic are Canadian, so foreigners are not a problem.
I do not appreciate the way the new owners treated KD when they took over.
I will avoid this company like the Covid-19

In the words of Rodney King, Can't we all just get along?

I do not know anyone personally that has been confirmed to have this. I am concerned about getting it and passing it to elderly family members.

I did not get passes this year, because I am saving money for a large purchase. Otherwise, if it opened tomorrow, I would go.

I have always kept my distance from others out of personal preference with the exception of theaters and queue lines.

They have hand sanitizer stations around the park.  If you are uncomfortable then wear a mask or don't go

Slightly longer answer:

Shouldn't have been out there in a storm and the coast guard should have made them remove the canopy.

Interestingly, the NTSB said that the captain was correct to tell the passengers not to put on life jackets, because more people may have been trapped by the canopy.

Hit's way too close to home. In November 2016, I accepted a job as a duck boat captain. I never got to do it because I decided to move back to Oklahoma to be closer to my daughter.

Random Talk / Re: Coronavirus

Pretty sure the drummer in my band had it in January. We played four gigs together that month. He had all the symptoms. Body aches, high fever, and cough but nobody really knew that Covid-19 was out there then.

it cleared up after about a month and now he's ok

If they extended midnight sadness through the whole season, employees would die, unless there is a whole lot more of them than normal. Those two weeks made for some very long days.

The best coffee in the park was at Sullivan's mill. I'm not a big fan of Starbucks. Politics aside, I just don't like their coffee, It seems very bitter to me.

I loved the plunge but it has passed its "best by" date by a couple decades

General Silver Dollar City Talk / Re: Toboggan ride

So close AP and move the Ozark dare devil society over there.....

I like it. Don't know that bats are real popular at the moment.

BTW, I've had more than one fly into my face in the cave.

Contrary to popular opinion, they do not taste like chicken. (Not even sure I should tell that joke anymore....It's in poor taste)

I have 1 hour, OK, I will see the parking lot, hospitality house and the cave...

I've actually done that before

I guess I picked the right year to skip the season pass.

I'm back BTW (again)

Snakes can't survive down in the cave for very long. I have seen a couple on the tower though.

QuoteThose are common urban myths about dark rides everywhere.  There probably are occasional snakes, but the stories always tell of them dropping into a boat or ride vehicle.  Snakes are only clinging to the ceiling of a ride waiting to prey on unsuspecting human tourists.
I'd be more concerned about the snakes in the cave...
