This is absolutely stunning, and I can't wait to see it in person Nov 9-12!

One question, sorry if it has already been answered....but will Christmas in Midtown be choreographed to music or is it a stagnant display? Even if it is stagnant, it will still be absolutely breathtaking, but i couldn't remember if we discussed it being choreographed or not. Thanks!

We are going November 9-12...the earliest we have ever gone. We typically go Thanksgiving day thru that weekend, always super busy then so we're seeing how the 9-12 will be this year.

Looks like most hotels/motels are booked solid for the 9-12, so we've booked a Condo. Wondering how SDC will be those days. It will be fun regardless, SDC at Christmas is our favorite time to visit.

There are also a number of hotel/motels in Branson West and Kimberling City.

That are booked?

Wow! Thanks for the side-by-side comparison. I even grew up in West Little Rock and remember the Osborne Family Lights on their private residence long before Jennings Osborne gave them to Disney. I just assumed it was them, but after the side-by-side, its obvious they were 'inspired.'

Looking forward to seeing Midtown this year.. The lights and New Facades will be great along with the new displays.
   
I did find it humorous the way Brad described the new Christmas Tree on Midtown...
 
"90 feet tall from the top of the tree to the street"...
   
Of course "we" know the tree will be sitting on the platform where the old treehouse was which is probably 30 - 40  feet off the street already...

Yes! I got a good laugh out of that too.

Watched it LIVE, enjoyed the many references to SDC's past, along with their family values which they still seem to hold. Enjoyed Jack and Pete's little video segment at the beginning.

Doesn't look like there is going to be any theming throughout the ride (bummer) along with no tunnels (Bummer). The spinning is still a concern. I am sure I will be the only one in my family who will be able to ride it. 

I would have like to seen what their plans are for the massive station they are building.

Looks like a GREAT ride overall, very excited....just missing the theming.

Looking at that extended platform, does anyone else think that riders would exit the vehicles before the train enters the station? The platform looks as if it would go right up to the track.

I am curious about the phrase Gravity "redefined". Instead of it shooting out of the station and plummeting downward, could it go in reverse up that giant hill?? That would be a 1st of its kind (i think).

Sanddunerider, I never actually got to meet you, but wanted you to know that we sat in pool area and enjoyed the fireworks display. Our daughter was getting sleepy and it was well past her bed time, so we headed back to the room before the end. We got to see the majority of it though!

Great 2 night stay at the Classic; this was our 2nd time at this hotel.
