MissinTheGreenTrams: My age and ride opening dates match up exactly with yours!
I was there during the opening week of ThuNderaTion, still have the tin cup they sold that year for the opening of that ride; I believe there were also buttons. My dad and I stood in line for hours waiting to get on ThuNderaTion, the line actually started at the main entrance under the sign at the top of the zig-zag hill.

Does anyone remember when the Flooded Mine was converted into some sort of Candy Factory during Old Time Christmas sometime in the 90's? It had some Christmas song playing during the entire ride, and there were candy canes and lollipops everywhere. I remember the line being so long, because everyone wanted to see what the Christmas version of the ride was like. I believe it was only open for one Christmas season, and never returned. I remember it being so amazing, that would be cool if they brought that back one year.

We are going to OTC Nov. 27-29, the weekend after thanksgiving. My family has been going to SDC's Christmas festival for at least the past 20 years. VERY excited as always!
