And they have mooved Young Christians Weekend from March to April...  I am glad it will not be during Spring Break Days.

Shorter Kids Fest is always a bonus.  Least favorite of the festivals

Wow, they really did shorten Kidsfest. It doesn't even go on during August. Looks to me like they're trying to push Moonlight Madness as a whole other festival not just extended hours.....?

I was just taking a look at a operating schedule from 06 and they have definitly scaled back kidfest it use to run until Aug. 20th and on the christmas they were open till 10. I guess the economy changes a lot. Though I do like that they have a few more days on open dates with no festivals. I think they almost have too many.

Which is why I avoid it.  I have despised the two times I have tried to "enjoy" the event (once the past two years)

Don't you think that Kidsfest will still be going on during Moonlight Madness, like this year?  This year, Kidsfest runs until Aug. 8.  Moonlight Madness is July 24-Aug. 8.

I agree, though.  Kidsfest can be shortened and I wouldn't shed a tear.

I cannot wait for Harvest Festival to get here.  That's when the park gets back to "normal" with the people who come to the park.  Summer time vacationers are always so cranky and don't seem to want to have a good time.

I really enjoyed the Mountain Music Festival. Bluegrass and BBQ doesn't have the charm.  I seem to remember smaller stages with groups all over and not just the venues that are only used 2-3 times a day.
I remember as a young boy walking through the city with people playing music all over. The Magic show was a stage if I remember correctly.
As was the wagon stage in mid town that was used by the powder puff girls for the meet and great this year.
