I have a very vague image in the back of my head of the first time I ever rode Fire in the Hole. I remember there being a point in the ride (pretty sure it was just after the first dip) where there were baldknobbers on both sides of the tracks pointing guns at the riders. Was there ever anything like this on FiTH?

Yes, after the first drop you would turn right into the Baldknobber Cave.  There were Baldknobbers hiding behind wagons shooting at you and saying things, however, I am not sure what there dialogue was.  Also the Barrel dump Baldknobber was once located up in this area.

The barrel dump is a fun part.  Sadly, the first time I rode it the barrel jump nearly scared me to death.  I should have known because all of the riders came out wet.
