SDC Adding New Operating Dates.
« on: June 12, 2009, 09:43:57 AM »
Good to see that SDC is adding more dates to their Calendar.  I guess this means that Business is doing better than expected this year.  They Added Aug 17-20th.  I hope they decide to add more dates at Christmas time.

I would suspect that the weather has cooperated more this year than last.  That certainly doesn't hurt.

For some reason, I didn't notice this before, but these dates also come with a sweet deal: $25 admission!

However, my advice is to stay clear of the parks on these days. I've seen these cheap ticket promotions go bad for parks when half the country unexpectedly shows up, just like at Freestyle Music Park and KFC's one-day chicken deal. I mean, people are always complaining about how expensive SDC is. If word of this gets out, they'll all plan to take advantage of it - or at least try to. I'm thinking we may see a new record for crowds. Hopefully the park is planning ahead.
