The SDC PR team brought the Fool's Gold Rush banner to a recent TV appearance. Looks like that will be a key element of the theme.

But if I were a betting man, I would put money on the name having the initials "MME," as seen on the coins sent out in the influencer boxes.

Mine train heaven, here we come.

On a side note, the contents of the influencer boxes seem to hint at the ride layout. The two candles could definitely be taken as a metaphor for two launches/lifts. One to "work by," and one to "bring you back home." The ride's terrain layout will almost certainly call for an extra boost at some point to get trains back to the station.

The closer we get, the more it becomes clear that this ride will be themed and marketed as a direct Thunderation replacement.

Been saying it's gonna have multiple launches, I have my theories on all that stuff I'll drop on Monday.

I count two. One out of the station up to the helix garden, and then one from the helix garden up past Powderkeg's first hill, which I assume will be the tallest point in the ride.

You're setting yourself up to be underwhelmed, brother. This will be a really great family mine train, perfect for the park, but not much beyond that.

You're so close with "expedition," but that title is reserved for Dollywood's new addition. What do we call a train that travels quickly from point A to point B? 

Hint: Dollywood has already used this naming convention.

A switch track or turntable, perhaps? A dynamic piece like that will really help elevate this already impressive ride

With more construction and flooring in place at the station you can clearly see the divide in the station where the coaster track sits and it appears to be too narrow for a Stryker or even a Big Dipper. This is likely for two across seat trains. I'm trying hard to reserve judgement here but I'll be disappointed if this is another low capacity ride. With the expansion plans for the park and the ever increasing crowds, they really do need something in addition to what Wildfire offers in terms of capacity.

In other news since I couldn't legally obtain pics, there are at least a dozen more footers for the coaster itself being constructed down the hill from the station. The large concrete area adjacent to it appears to be footer columns for maintenance/transfer track. These can be easily viewed from Wildfire as you drop. Really surprised they still haven't progressed beyond the pouring footers stage with the announcement being under 2 weeks away now.

I'm not saying it's a Stryker, but on those, the outside seats are floorless and don't sit over the track.  So it could work here IF it was a Stryker
