Ok, but the park has stated 1st in the States.  A Mack mine train does not fit that criteria

Nothing says it has to be a Mack mine train to be a family coaster. It could be a family Stryker, for all we know.

Also, that would be a very surprising decision with the resort opening the same year, a family mine train has very little appeal to try to bring in people

It's not very appealing to the crowd in here, no. But to a family in Kansas City planning their next weekend trip? I'd say that's a pretty big draw. You have to remember that most parkgoers don't look at a mine train and say "that is a mine train type roller coaster." They perceive the ride based on how the park presents it. Silver Dollar City is presenting this as an ambitious adventure. With a few special elements (drop tracks, swing launches, etc.) a mine train could very well fit that description.

Remember, they've been building this mining story for more than a year. They installed a vintage mine hoist that towers over Wildfire I think that should tell all of us that the theme of this ride is equally important as the ride type.

As much as I would love a Hyper in the park, I think the best thing for them is a large-scale family thrill experience.

(I work in marketing. I even contract with the park for marketing services. Trust me, family thrill is the way to go.)

Ok, family thrill,but it will not be a mine train.  The station is way too small for that.  It looks perfect for a Stryker though

Just bc this isn't a Stryker or Hyper doesn't mean it's "lame" this willl be a world class addition. But it's family friendly.

One thing I can say is that this probably isn't hyper but I've heard people think this is gonna be something similar to big bear mountain which I don't see that as the case I think this will be at least more intense than that

Since you think you know it all, how do you reconcile it being the "first of it's kind in the United States"?  That completely rules out mine train, which you erroneously claim it to be
