Do you guys think they will live stream the announcement on YouTube I know they had live streamed on Facebook for new ride announcements for mystic river falls and fire in the hole and they hadn't done new ride announcements on YouTube since Time traveler but since they did fanfest on YouTube I was just wondering

Sounds like they're live streaming all over the place, so it wouldn't surprise me if they do it on YT

Likely because of all the logistical prep work (we are still seeing footers get poured) and land prep they had to do. It also works out too as they wanted to really keep this one under wraps as much as possible. I think people will be surprised here.

I hope they live stream it. They didn't for the Hotel/Resort announcement which was a letdown.

If this does turn out to be a Stryker or launched Big Dipper, I would sure be interested to see the reach board clearances on the Wildfire side of the station because it sure plays tricks with the eyes looking at it going up the lift.

As stated previously, media announcement is August 14, along with a construction tour for attendees. I'll be there taking photographs and will be sure to share when I'm done. Usually the park grabs my shots for their main channels, so imagery from the event should be available pretty quickly.

If I were a betting man (which I am), I would bet that we'll see the ride structure go vertical a few days before the announcement. I would also bet that we'll be up close and personal with a piece of track.

Anyone have theories on how those certificates from last year's Fan Fest will play into this campaign?

It's always fun when we have a new attraction incoming and we have a bunch of new posters sign up to comment on posts... and then it gets announced and we never see them again. 😅

I've seen a video on TikTok that includes drone shots of the construction. It seems to be a week or two old, since the mine hoist hasn't been topped off yet in the video. Are drone shots allowed on this site?
