I'm baffled by people looking at the mining hoist structure and confusing it with some kind of coaster support.

He did do some research and he said that he was wrong about that

First post on this forum, but I was scrolling through the website and noticed that in one of the key visuals for the new resort (the one with the fireworks and showboat) you can faintly see a coaster in the background behind wildfire. the art for the coasters in the art isn't very detailed so you can't make out too much but i thought it was interesting still

Well, the teaser campaign has officially started. Same exact way they teased FiTH 2.0 (background, then random bits of info slowly added.)

I do wonder if they'll add signs around the worksite like they did for Time Traveler

Do note Terry (the man behind the character) did note that the new construction was gonna be for "something big" in an earlier video.

This is probably something to do with Wildfire itself and not the new coaster. I'm not even sure what it could be, though. Maybe backwards seats?

Oh yeah, I forgot about seeing that somewhere. Definitely an addition to the queue at Wildfire, probably an animatronic Doc Harris

Honestly, I could see them closing Wildfire early this year to do a refurbishment while they are installing the new supports and track that go right next to the final turn on Wildfire. It'd suck for capacity reasons, but it knocks two birds out with one stone.

This is definitely not related to the new ride. I'm sure they've had theming enhancements planned for a while. I'd expect a "big" change will be focused entirely on the queue and not the ride itself.

The Wildfire queue has been updated with new lighting and motion activated effects. There is also a mannequin of Doc.
I'm guessing that they are expecting Wildfire to have longer lines next year with more foot traffic in that part of the park.

Hopefully this means the airship and the weather room will be repaired too. It's taken a keen eye, but the lab/office has been updated from time to time over the years. It's easy to forget that Wildfire is a bit of an uncommon bird with those trains. We are fortunate to have it.

I think this will probably be a Stryker but we'll see who knows it could be a mine train even though there's a bit of evidence against a mine train
