Can anyone recommend a condo in Branson? and how do they work? We are looking into staying in one for the first time.  We looked at the Greens at Thousand Hills anyone know anything about them? Thanks for the info.

Anything at Thousand Hills is pretty good, centrally located and a golf course.  There are several options at Thousand Hills, including the Greens.  Emerald Point, south of Branson on Table Rock Lake is very nice, comparable in price to Thousand Hills.  Point Royale, on Hwy 165 toward the dam from Branson is also an option.  Actually, there are quite a few options available to you.

How do they work?  Nightly or weekly rentals usually.  Sometimes you can get into one with a vacation package (but they may ask you to tour their resort or something like that).  You might try the Branson Chamber of Commerce website for more information.  http://www.explorebranson.com/

The Notch Estates Nightly Rentals is one mile past SDC on 76. we have stayed there for the past 15 years . They have 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condos that sleep 6, and 2 bedroom cabins, and 4 bedroom townhouses that sleep 15. The condo are reasonable at 120 per night, its quite with wooded valleys on both sides of the ridge they sit on.  It overlooks Shadowbrook.  There is a walmart supercenter 2 mile away at Branson West for groceries if you want to fix your own meals. Check out www.notchestatesnightlyrentals.com  Phone417-338-2000.
SDC has always made a great past to remember

^Thanks for the info, oldsdcer!  My wife and I are thinking about going on an extended Branson visit.  It's always nice to stay in a condo and Notch Estates sounds like a great place.
