In visiting the area in the last few years, the Branson area feels tired, lost.  Fewer big name theaters, vacant buildings or lots, fewer outlet stores.  We miss Celebration City, we enjoyed the laser light show and the sox hop after.  It seems what we would spend days trying to fit in our schedule we can now accomplish in two.

I hate to say it but you are right, they need to find the next big thing.

Have already been staying at Classic for monthly trips to Branson since Homestay closed. Started staying at Classic during the winters in 2012. Husband has already made reservations at Classic for our next trip. That stay should finish out our punchcard for a free night.

Just thought I'd ask....

The Classic is a nice place.  I will call the Homestay for my next trip at the beginning of June but I cant say I am counting on them being open. I feel bad that I cant give them my business but its not like I jumped ship on them.  The last time I called for reservations someone I didn't know answered the phone and said that they would take my reservation and if they weren't open they would just switch my reservation to the Econo Lodge, I didn't like that shift and it turned me off.   The Classic will probably end up being home base for the weekend.

Stayed at Classic again this weekend... another nice stay for us.........

Don't forget, WHEN you stay at classic, makes sure you tell them you are part of the Silver Dollar City group...  That way they can get your 38.00 rate...

Mh, looks like we will miss you again.... maybe later on this year..

LOL.. of course she has to hire a crew of people 1st!!!...

The word for now is to be open and ready June 6th...  hold off on your calls to the Motel until next week... otherwise the "other" motel will still be answering the phone...  or call Paige on her cell phone....

MH.. Punchcard:..   Katy gives you a card ith hotel logo on it...  after 5 stays, you get 1 night free...  they arite down the dates on the card...... the stays have to be within 1 year...   not too hard to do when you consider they are open during the "off" season,,, ;D

Hi Everybody! Boy how things change with just a phone call! Ok, I am going to be "officially" open June 6th but we are doing a "soft open" starting Sat May 31st. I am training with whole new crew so, if I have some rooms ready I can go ahead and rent. I know this has been a strange deal, I am ready to just be open! I do have the phone and computer back too! Hope to hear from ya' all soon!  ;D  ;D
