According to my newsletter from SFSL. There will be a new "wet ride". It sounds like it will be in the same family as the Tom Sawyer ride.
It will be a spinning ride too. The boats will sink in the water to a point where the floor is submerged. The boats will then spin around in circles as well as spin around each other (Kind of like a "Scrambler" ride only in water). All the while each rider will be armed with loaded water cannons in which they can spray other riders in their boat, riders in other boats, and innocent bystanders.
-the article made no mention either way as to whether or not the bystanders have cannons to fire back.
Scheduled to be in operation on opening day 2014 called "Tsunami Soaker"
