COUNTDOWN: Less than a month until opening day!

Ok, we have made it through most of the off season. Park gates swing open again in less than a month! What are your plans for 2013? I plan to be there opening day(tentative plans at this point), with a camera in hand. After breakfast and rope drop, I'm heading right to the pizza restaurant for a few photos and then to Outlaw Run to check it out. Then, a good, general cruise around SDC to see what is new for this year, or what has been changed in some way.  How about you? When do you plan on going for the first time this year, and what are you excited about seeing/experiencing?

We shall be at the park for opening on Sunday, the 24th of March. Main objective, ride Outlaw Run!! It may be our only trip to SDC this year, so the rest of the day will be spent absorbing it all in. Happy trails..

Lor' willin' an' the crick don' rise, the Missus an' me'll be there for Opening Day 9and the next day, too!)--the first time ever.  No plans at all in conjunction with Outlaw Run.  I have no interest in it at all.  The 12th is our anniversary, and we had our honeymoon at SDC (but in May because of school), so we figure it's a good way to celebrate. 

Is Homestay open that early?

I worked through college on a seasonal job, and LOVED the time off in the winter, we would close up from late Nov. and reopen in Mar. We worked all spring / summer/ fall, 40 hrs a week, and being a college kid, and being accustomed to summers off from high school, I was glad to have the time in winter off. I one year used that time off to work a swing shift/ early morning 2-10 or 4-12 shift unloading trucks and sticking shelves at a Target. I am sure the people are all ready to get back at it as much as we are to get back out there!
