2013 Meet Ups.

Gilligan-you know the Farmers Almanac is calling for a below normal temps. and above normal snowfall for the 2013/2014 winter season, right?
--Snowy & cold is not too bad (I mean ITS TERRIBLE) weather to be at SDC.  Just horrible. No one wants to be there in these conditions.  You are "much better off" in a nice (climate controlled) envinronment.
-----I mean, you have to worry about paying those exhorbant prices on Hot Chocolate, just to keep you warm. Or worse yet, you wont have to worry about falling on the snow slickened hill after paying high prices for a funnel cake.

Now after hearing reality, dont you feel sorry for me/wifey? We are going to be suffering "brutely" thru all of that mess.    

Hope you feel better now.   I really hope you feel better LITERALLY very soon.

your right, no one will be there, extended forcast is cold, windy and rain ALL weekend...  it will really be nasty..  SDC probably wont even open the gates!!!

We are definitely going to be in Branson this weekend. We are tentatively planning to go out to SDC Saturday but it will probably depend on the weather and also if something else fun comes along. We only have two nights and a whole list of Christmas shows we'd like to see, so it's hard to decide what to do...

I'm actually staying at Homestay, so we definitely might run into each other. We're seeing a show tomorrow night but should be getting back around 10 pm...

Well….I don't know what to say!  It's just a darn shame that the cold, blustery weather will keep you all away.  I'm sure sorry that none of you will be able to make opening weekend (*wink* *wink*).  Closing the gates sounds like the best idea yet.  Now, be sure to post those pics that NO ONE will be taking.  Especially you, Sanddune, since I know for sure you won't be there! 

Here's some really good news:    Caring people will be sending me my t-shirt and race number since I can't attend the 5K!  I'm thrilled with that!  I can't wait to wear it race day and see the look on the faces of the patients in rehab!  Rube, if you're going to the race, I expect pics to be posted.  This will be the first year I'll miss the race.  *sadness*

misskim, we wont arrive until sat afternoon, going to hit a couple of shows, then back to motel after 9:30 or so...  CYA then.

Gilligan, i'm sorry I wont be able to psot any of the pics I wont be taking since i wont be there.. ( did i say that right). Maybe someone else that isn't going and not taking pictures can help you out....OR not.,!.

Glad to hear about the shirt/number thing,.. friends cant be beat!

sanddunerider -   thanks for the invite.  By 10 Saturday night, my kiddos (3 and 5) had best be in bed and well on their way to lala land. Have to catch ya sometime when it is just me and the hubby.
