Some of you will remember that I do some freelance writing on topics of Ozarks history and folklore. I've currently got a story in the latest edition of Life in the Ozarks, an On-line magazine. If you would like to read my brief history of the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead, check out the Website, and go to feature stories. It is right at the top of the page:     www.lifeintheozarks.com          Hope you like it. There is another story I've written in the Traveling the Ozarks section of the magazine, too.
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

Junior, is the Ozark Mountaineer still published?  I had a subscription to that for years.  I forgot all about until I read your post about your article.

Should do a write up on  the music on the Mountain View square and the Ozark Folk Center.

I live in the area. Someone could do an expose' about all of the long-time performers and employees at the OFC who are not there this season due to various issues.

The Ozarks Mountaineer is still published. Here is their Website address:   www.ozarksmountaineer.com

I like the idea for the story about the Ozark Folk Center. The woman who publishes Life in the Ozarks is affiliated with OFC in some capacity. I might have her check into the situation mentioned above.
