« on: January 12, 2012, 07:36:22 AM »
well here it is 2-12-12,  By this time the last 2 years, we had Lots of snow and bad weather. So far this year we have had mild above average temps and no moisture to speak of..

BUT today I woke up to 0 degree windchill and 25 mph winds, with a skiff of snow. and suppose to last through friday nite,,  And then back into the 40's on sat,,  hope thats correct.

Whats it doing where your at?  And I hope everybody is getting along good.

Yeah I work with some oddball here in Honest Abe's Historical Hometown...Land who also enjoys this crap.  Oh well, I can't complain.  It's been a splendid winter up until today, and this really isn't so bad, just yet.  It gets no love from me, though.

We had almost 60 degrees yesterday (although in central Missouri it was Jan 11, not Feb  ;D). This morning we probably had 1-2 inches, 25-35mph winds and I don't think it's gotten above 20 yet today. What a difference a day makes.

The schools were closed here, including the college, so I was stuck at home with my sister and dad all day. Mom almost stayed home, but she decided to brave the crazy weather. The highest it got today was 19 degress, and I think Dad said we got about 2 or 3 inches of snow.

Well, it's currently 16 and gusting here in the Land of Lincoln, and all smart teachers are wearing their pajamas inside out.  It's a sure bet for a SNOW DAY!

Here in Springfield on Thursday it was in the 20s and we only got a trace to maybe 1/4 inch of snow. My family a few counties north had 2 inches of snow, and some areas to our south also had more snow. Supposed to be 10* in the morning. Brrrrrrr!
